Monday, November 6, 2023 - Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Expressive nose displaying concentrated sweet yellow fruit, lemon curd, honey, beeswax, vanilla, dry extract, sesame, sweet spies and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of concentrated yellow fruit, rich, oily and deeply toned but also showing a good balance and energy, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with honey and beeswax at the end. This is a big scale concentrated Meursault that nicely expresses the producer and the vineyard.
