  Not surprisingly this was wound up and shy on first pour, but a short decant quickly added depth and weight. Exceptional precision and balance, with ripe lemon and orchard fruit and great acidity. I'd expect patience will be rewarded with this wine over the next 5-10 years.

  Jolie robe délicatement colorée, et un nez qui exprime le fruit frais, bien mûr, l’opulence, la rondeur, avant que de jolies notes minérales ne s’insèrent dans le panorama. Attaque grasse, ronde, mais vive qui fait se juxtaposer deux aspects, l’un fait de fruité mur et envahissant, l’autre sur de la tension et des accents minéraux enrobés d’agrumes. Aucun d’eux ne prend le dessus sur l’autre, ils se complètent et marchent ensemble vers le plaisir qu’ils ont à nous offrir. Et du plaisir, il y en a beaucoup, car la complexité du vin ne s’arrête pas là, et va bien au-delà. Un vin séveux, assez puissant mais tout en retenue grâce à la salinité et à la droiture qu’il possède. Un très long final, tout en harmonie conclut cette très belle impression. Aussi savoureux qu’il soit, il me semble préférable de l’attendre quand même quelques années car beaucoup de choses sous-jacentes à cet instant auront eu le temps d’éclore, et ce sera un vrai festival !

  Dégusté a 67 Pall Mall, ouvert 45 minutes avant service et mis en carafe. Nez au départ assez timide, mais après 1 heure, il commence un peu à s’ouvrir. En bouche un peu la même chose ! Bien trop jeune mais un très beau potentiel.

  Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Expressive nose displaying concentrated sweet yellow fruit, lemon curd, honey, beeswax, vanilla, dry extract, sesame, sweet spies and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of concentrated yellow fruit, rich, oily and deeply toned but also showing a good balance and energy, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with honey and beeswax at the end. This is a big scale concentrated Meursault that nicely expresses the producer and the vineyard.
