Sunday, July 1, 2012 - Very unique. Rust on the brim. Funky barn nose to start. It took about 10 minutes for it to blow off. Hay field, leather, dried current. The fruit was present but way back. Tannins with silky fine with a bit of a chalk texture. Very good balance. The second oldest Oregon Pinot I've ever had. Short finish. It offered more than I expected from a 21 year old OR pinot.
