Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, red licorice, lavender, and smoke. Palate: Medium full bodied, sweet red fruit and spice attack transitions beautifully thru the mid-palate where a nice acidic kick balances out the sweetness, laser focus with no harshness. Finish: Medium length dominated by spicy dark red fruit. Very delicious from nose to finish.
