Friday, May 6, 2011 - The fill was into the neck and the cork was sound; another pristine bottle. Blood red color with amber at the rim. The bouquet offers up notes of ripe dark fruits and herbs, with a hint of flower and chocolate with additional air. Quite elegant and balanced on the palate, with good grip and focus -- lacking just a bit in terms of mouthfeel. Another fine showing for this wine, which seems to be at the top of the mountain from a maturity standpoint; I'll drink my remaining bottles in the near term.
