A rather muted nose with creamy oak flavors and little fruit. Lots of vanilla and banana oak on the palate which adds both tropical flavors and a creamy texture but currently covers most of the fresh apple& lemon fruit and minerality which do lurk underneath. Fine acidity for freshness, but somehow it lacks fruit intensity and length. Might need a bit more time to shed some of its oak make-up. Ambitious winemaking, but currently seems a bit international and overoaked for a Chablis. - 88 points

Juicy and fruit-forward for a Chablis, with fruit verging on the tropical, but also offers atypically razor-sharp acidity in an opulent vintage. Enjoyable to drink, but not exactly textbook Chablis. Faded and flattened out somewhat on day two. Not for long cellaring.

Creamy lemon tart nose with pineapple. Great texture with palate focusing on fruit and ending on honey ginger spices. Very good. Not sure worth the price though (50 bucks)

Piuze at Hi-Times (Hi-Times, Costa Mesa, CA): From a plot in the heart of the vineyard. Expressive nose of lemon chiffon with some sulfur showing up. Ripe lemon flavors, clean with mineral notes. Shorter and not as acidic as the other bottles, even a bit rough on the finish. This made it more fruit driven than the other bottlings. Very overpriced.

Very very good. Read my previous review but add that it is worth waiting for it to develop... ;-)

Enticing creamy nose, very muted palate and shortish finish. Well made to show off the fruit, but not showing much depth for the price.
