Extremely dark in the glass. Nearly black. Brown rim. Older nose of dried flower and leaves, old tobacco and stewed fruits. Loads of overripe plum. On the palate, it feels chalky and gritty. Bitter woody tones of cedar and cigar box. Dirty remnants of plum fruit. Unfortunately, all that's left in this wine is dirty, dried leaves and funk. Past its time, or perhaps it was stored improperly.

TN's are weak for this wine. Mainly remember the cherry cola nose and palette. Not bad....cola profile increased after about 1 hr. Will buy again for $10

A decent malbec well worth the $10 or so price. Bought from a tasting at a wine store. I felt it outperformed wines at this tasting being offered at the $30 price point. Fruit nose strong at the tasting, not so much when I opened my bottle. This leads me to believe this wine will perform better with some time in decanter, say an hour or so. I didn't wait that long. Friend remarked he smell acidity right when opened. Deep color and medium slow legs. Fruit boquet increase as it sat in glass. I find that when I open a malbec for people who never had, they become quick converts. Recommended as good value table wine and a good wine to introduce guests to this wonderful varietal.

Incense, smoke and black currant aromas. The palate is equally smoky with some stewed plums, but not a lot of ripe fruit or minerality here. Lacking in substance and weight. Fine pizza wine.

Solid Argentine malbec, showing cherry, meat, and tar on a medium- to full-bodied frame. A surprising beam of acidity keeps things focused. Prune finish evolved into riper fruit with time.

This is a decent wine for pizza, BBQ, but not to drink on its on. Started out earthy, smoky plum and dark rich fruit and showed good with dinner, but without food, it became sour and thin.-cld

Wine was good considering it is an inexpensive medium bodied red. Served with Pacific Rockfish and it went quite nicely. Good red fruit flavor and aromas that opened up through the meal.
