Took this wine to a party - it was well received. An exceptional pinot noir. See my notes of 12/12/2014.
12/12/2014 rated 94 points: I had forgot that I tasted this wine just a month ago. Nothing Has changed: "appears unfiltered and unfined. Cherry, raspberry, roasted nuts, some cinnamon, spice and toasted oak. Rich, full-bodied and intense fruit, with a hint of sweetness in the mouth. Tannins are fairly well resolved and integrated into the wine. Nice structure and an excellent balance. A long extended and spicy finish."

A dense reddish-ruby color. Appears unfiltered and unfined. Cherry, raspberry, roasted nuts, some cinnamon, spice and toasted oak. Rich, full-bodied and intense fruit, with a hint of sweetness in the mouth. Tannins are fairly well resolved and integrated into the wine. Nice structure and an excellent balance. A long extended and spicy finish. Good pairing with baked salmon. An exceptional pinot noir. (Note 24 hours later: lavender on the nose; the roasted nuts are slightly less roasted).

Wow, this is one of the best Cali pn's I've ever had. Unmistakeable sweet, ripe Pinot fruit balanced w moderate acidity and earthiness (and a little funk) that just hits the sweet spot on my palate.

Extrememly deep purple in color. Exotic aromatics of lavendar, potpourri and spice. Also a bit of funkiness as well. Took awhile to integrate in the glass but offered rich, dark fruit flavors and continued spiciness. A cloying element was apparent as well. Rounded out nicely with a bit of time. Very rich fruit profile. Round and mouthfilling with moderate acidity.

Typically very dark PN. very nice nose of dark fruit and light spice, clove. A touch of the funk I love. A touch fruit forward showing as sweetness in the cherry flavor. Mid palate tail off of flavor but medium finish. Some incense. A couple more years should help because it does gave the backbone to age more. Say hello to Mr Turkey!

Deep, dark and brooding. Purple. Big, though reticent nose, with a bit too much oak right now, but good dark fruits and forest floor mixing it up. A couple more years should improve the nose. Not showing much on the palate either, closed for business. Does seem to have potential and some serious structure.

A complex and layered Pinot. Herbs, saltiness and fruit on the nose; well balance, very fine tannins and very lenghty finish.
