Wait two years before open my second bottle to get a balanced wine with integrated tannin. That process seams to be done now, but yet the wine is missing a bit the aspect what I am looking for when drinking Shiarz: the typical spicy and abrasiveness. It is still a good wine with enough concentration and some compelxity but also a bit boring. Drink now or during the next two years.

17$ @ Kenaston Wine market - figured i would try this popular brand. I agree with prior notes i think. Medium bodied, nice balance of fruit and acid and tannin...a little heavy handed on sugar perhaps. Fruit is dark and stewed with a little woodsy notes on finish.

App: Dark purple Aroma: Sweet dark berries with a touch of moccha Full bodied and slightly sweetish palate with a good tannic bite to balanca the sugar. Medium to good length
Good wine, but a glass is the limit

- Brick color and aromas of strawberry and cherry. It's overly tannic and has flavours of burnt toast and oak with a medium finish - Deep red opaque in color. Definite cherry and even strawberry on the nose. On drinking the tannins overpower any other sensation one might experience. Not a balanced wine at this point. Give me a koonunga hill any day.

Not particularly distinctive, this still manages to show appealing brightness to its crushed black fruit, briar and spice flavors. Medium to full bodied, this is forward, plush and appealing on the palate with little evidence of oak aging.

AVTG does GSM blind (Roman Vineyard): Tasted blind. Medium-dark garnet. Sweet raspberry ganache, violets on the nose. Briary raspberry, purple jolly rancher notes are generous and accessible. Easy to drink, with flashy, sweet fruit in abundance. (WOTN #3)

Ok, nothing special but then again, I wasn't expecting that. Dark red, mild black fruit on the nose. Pretty one dimensional flavor with short finish.

Plum fruit, some oak. Soft tannins.

Better than last bottle and likely to improve a tad with some more bottle age.

Not loving this as much as the '10. Gritty tannins. May need to rest for a couple of years.

Drinkable and fruity, with blackberry and sweet raspberry flavors. Nothing special but a hearty midweek quaffer.
