Since the label said "Blanc de Noirs" I didn't know what color to expect. Poured pink-tinged but not really pink; someone else called it coppery, and I'd have to agree with that. Maybe "copper-pink." Nose: red, juicy but subtle fruit and minerals, to me. (I'm still trying to learn how to describe nose.) Taste/mouth: crisp, dry, refined fruit with medium feel; tight, tiny bubbles; and elegant smoothness. I might just have a new favorite from the Iron Horse stables!

Really enjoyed this wine, Strawberry, minerality, and ripe red apple on the nose. Wonderful flavors of apricot, cherry, strawberry and cardamom with cinnamon and lime on the finish. Great acidic balance, very refreshing.

I have very limited experience with sparkling wines, so keep that in mind when reading these notes.
Color: Nice vibrant pink color, think strawberry starbursts Nose: I didn't get a lot on the nose here, maybe some strawberries, citrus, a little floral? Taste: This was a nice dry rose sparkler. Good acidity and crisp citrus stawberry/watermelon flavors. I was hoping a little more sweetness (but didn't necessary expect it).
This had some nice tight, small, bubbles and was light and crisp. Paired very well with a variety of light finger foods (apples, grapes, salami, prosciutto, cheese, olives and french bread). Definitely worthy of a special occasion.

Fantastic California sparkler that rates right up there with the best from the US. Dry, vibrant, almond, crisp citrus, acidity, nice tight bubbles. This is as close to France as California is going to get.

Drier than its dosage would suggest, this definitely drinks like a dry Rosé, given its bracing acidity, but you can tell it has dosage. Not a huge distinctive wine, but refined, well-made and subtle drinking, this is a very classy, medium-bodied tart strawberry fizz.

Orange-pink; light strawberry and wheat bread; high acidity, good bread notes with rich body; still manages to be quite airy, with a nice medium finish.

Iron Horse making wonderful bubbles like they always do. Old world style rose excellent in every way. Still prefer the "Make Up" cuvee a bit more, but would never refuse this.

Drank at Xmas eve; great start to evening. Everyone enjoyed it. Hints of apple. Not too sweet; perfect balance. Would buy again at $25 per bottle.
