Beautiful bright, medium golden colour. Developed, keroseney nose, creamy, touch of honey, underlying ripe apple and peach. Medium bodied, creamy, kerosene, stone and apple fruit, fresh acids, very good length gently creamy finish. Fully mature and time to drink up.

Beginning and ending in Veneto: Golden yellow. In the nose, this is fascinating with slight notes reminiscent of Botrytis (honey, ginger), some tangerine and fully ripe apple. On the palate, it's got razor sharp acidity, but a very creamy mouthfeel at the same time. It's still quite fresh and finishes with slightly bitter and spicy notes. With air and temperature, this gets better and better and the finish becomes more harmonic. Good time to drink it now, but no hurry.

Petroleum, bergamott, peaches, minerals, peaches, ripe apples on the nose. Tastes like a sweet wine but dry; exotic fruits, peach ripe apples, decent acidity left but should be drunk within a few years. Seems to not develop to well in the glass.

This wine has turned an even more orange color since the last bottle, not an oxidative color but more likely from skin contact in fermentation. Fairly fat and rich but with nice acid, I can't see this getting too much better and it will likely get more rich and viscous, drink it now if you want a vibrant style.

Petroleum, orange peel, spices, slate and ripe yellow fruit on the expressive nose. Slightly sweet on the palate, with refreshing citruslike acidity and an underlayer of slate and spicy honey, a hint of botrytis. Good balance, fresh, but in a somewhat ripe, voluptuous style.

went from a very disjointed mix of petrol, acidity and fruit to a nicely balanced bottle of wine. not especially deep or complex in the middle and a moderate finish. nice but would have liked a bit more complexity.

Wow, what a wine. White peach and white flower with honey poured over stones. The longer in the the glass, the more complex this wine becomes. Beautiful, elegant, and cerebral...the more you think about the wine as you drink it the better it shows.

Petrol nose. Spicy kerosene. Precise and very dry when cool, much sweeter as it warms. Keep this one around 60F for the best showing. A lovely Alsacian white.

Manlin comes to town for dinner at Lampreia (Seattle, WA): Order off the wine list. Served a little warm at first. With some chilling this was an enthralling wine. Petrol moving to honey and pineapple. Ripe and slightly off-dry, there is clearly a hint of Muscat in here. I do love the Deiss field blends. Quirky, powerful, and very versatile.

Lampreia with Amy & Justin. Petrol plays with honey and pear. A hint of apricot pit. Very flamboyant. Spicy, nutmeg palate. A little raspy acid at first.

Opened this bottle on Christmas Day 2005. A full bodied off-dry white with an almost overpowering intensity of strawberry, peach, and minerals, with a finish that lasts forever.

Excellent wine. Evolved but rather less than I had expected on the basis of a couple of TNs here. Nice showing.

Consistent notes. I agree with another poster that it is time to finish these, if you want to retain the freshness that is now still present.

A wonderful wine. Drank at Thanksgiving with '04 Kistler and '01 Konsgaard and held it's own.
