Getting that golden color. Now in that pre-pre-mox stage. Still enjoyable but heading to its undrinkability pre-mox period soon. Slightly carmelized orange and peach notes. Minerality still present. Slightly toasted Oak and creamy finish.

Similar to previous bottles, perhaps a little more open with no residual reduction. This is quite a rich expression and while very good the only reservation is that it perhaps doesn’t carry its richness as lightly as it could - means it is not quite as enjoyable to drink as it could be ****

PnP'ed. Every bit as fresh as I recalled this to be. Flinty (with a tad of struck-match-like reduction), lime/citrus, tinge of white-flowers on the nose, and a bright/high acid palate balanced with yellow-fruits to match. This is in no danger of going downhill anytime soon, although I wonder if it'll get any better? In a very nice place/drinking-window now...

Still pale in colour - coming along healthily for sure. A bit reductive in feel still but starting to more Meursault and less PYCM. Slightly fat apple, citrus streaks and pronounced white floral elements. Keen to see where this goes over the next 10 years ****

2010 PIERRE-YVES COLIN-MOREY LES NARVAUX MEURSAULT- a frequent visitor to our dinners, this shined as those before it with nice, bright acidity, fresh lemon notes in the nose and taste joined by some mint and lime; it had that every so pleasing mouthfeel to highlight the treasures carried within.

Great intensity of flavours. Really opened up wth air and a bit of warmth. Lots of saltiness, citrus flavours. Hint of roundness on the palate, in the context of super linear style of pycm. Lots of layers of fruit. I really enjoy this bottling. No rush to drink at all.

The PYCM had classic tautness on the open, green apple, reductive. Softened with some time in the glass, yellow stoned fruits. Continued to drink young with time in glass. Love the balance here.

Another killer bottle of 2010 PYCM! Good dose of reduction up front, which freshly integrates with the yellow pitted fruit, crystalline and cream. Classic pycm lemon/lime acidity, crushed rocks…..salty minerals play well with the ripe fruit, touch of honey. Classic Meursault flint strike well integrated….wonderful white flower and lime blossom florals……pure and balanced. Super stuff!

really good again, definitely wasn't ready to drink until about an hour plus in the decanter (tasted clumsy on the pnp, oaky or lanolin type sensation)... but after a decant it was great with deeper (not bright) citrus and a touch of sweetness and a touch of richness, not your bright Pul Montr type burgundy but very very nice and would be loved by "the crowd"... drank great on night two and pretty darn good on night three as well

really good when first opened, but a hint of sweetness on the lemon / apple fruit went away and left it a bit muddled as this took on air, i think this is going to be a superb wine - that's my instinct

Absolutely brilliant Meursault AOC. Everything you would want in a villages white burg. Intense fruit, sharp acidity, fine minerals, and a generous squeeze of lime. Sneaky depth, and the fruit is pretty opulent for this level. Slightly spicy. Just really satisfying, and this has opened up quite a bit in the last few months.

Super fresh and bright, this shows intense lime citrus, some sharp minerality, and a bit of salinity. Not a lot of depth or complexity at this point, and the nose is a bit muted, but the focus and intensity is really attractive. Just the faintest hint of more savory nuttiness which will emerge in time. Super young now.

Much better at this stage than the 12…..crystalline yellow pitted fruit, clean and fresh with cream…..amazing zip in the mouth…citrus pop rocks, lemon/lime acidity, crushed flintstone…..salty minerals play well with the ripe fruit, touch of honey. Classic Meursault flint strike well integrated….wonderful white flower and lime blossom florals……pure and balanced. Makes me Meur-so-horny! ;-) Love it!

Mineral and petrol nose, that opened with time to hints of buttery citrus. Clear, light greenish yellow color shows this wine is still way young. Zesty on the palate with minerals, citrus, butter, nuts, and good acidity. Medium weight but lithe on the palate. Medium finish.

The 2010 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Meursault Les Narvaux is medium lemon in colour with a nose of sweet pineapples, fresh pears and green apples. A soft entry of fresh pears, green apples and good minerality before progressing to grapefruits and pineapples. There's an evident mid to backend sweetness.
An underlying acidity lifts the flavours of the wine and powers the wine to a persistent finish. A pleasant minerality strings through from start to finish. Pretty linear in style then broadens out very lightly to an uplifting freshness. Pretty delicious stuff.

had side by side with 2010 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Les Ancegnières....the meursault showed better today. Both wines had about 10-15 minutes in the glass. The meursault was more expressive and clear with good acidity and length. Should be fun to follow over a few years.

Expressive aromatics on the nose showing Winesap apple, lemon peel and hints of florals. Great fruit with intense focus on the palate. Medium body with high acidity and a long finish.
