Popped and poured. This is a very dark red, trending to black, wine; it stains everything. On the nose, I get gravel, blackberry, blueberry, and a touch of heat. In the mouth, this is still very structured with deep layers of flavor that take some work to reach; the 25% Petit Verdot in the blend makes its presence known. The finish has some big, black fruit with a touch of road tar. Overall, this is a distinctive wine. I think it is as ready as it will get. It is not as obnoxious as I feared it would be. 91 points.

In fine form. Decanted for about 3 hours and the wine opened up nicely. A big, jammy blend with lovely structure. Likely still has several years left in the bottle but perfectly wonderful right now.

Great nose, deep red, and with a fabulous feel in the mouth. Complex, yet alive and vibrant throughout the swallow. The best wine I have had this year.

Decanted for one hour. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like flint, red currant, black currant (cassis) and prune.

Great wine with great color. It was very fruity and fresh and was a definite pop and pour. I was a little worried as the cork was very wet with wine but no problem. Still have two bottles left to enjoy!

Ripe blueberry and black cherry, earth and cedar. The cedar is prominent in the nose. Big, rich, smooth and sweet. Built for pleasure more than contemplation. The score is mine. My wife would have rated it a point higher.

Has put on some weight and increased sweetness. Likely gaining benefits from the bottle aging of the Cab, Petit Verdot and Malbec components. A bit more of a barbeque wine than a tannic wonderland but pleasant none-the-less.

Wow smoky nose with some subtle spices and a touch of violets. Really huge body still very early for this wine- I'll wait a few years before trying the next. Good fruit and the bordeaux/syrah combo is interesting. Long finish but a bit muted due to the solis tannins at this point.

Nice dark berries, wonderful smooth tannins and well integrated. First night a bit bitter, mainly because it needed to warm up a little bit. Kept most of the bottle under vacuum for next day and was rewarded for the patience.

Popped and poured. Still very fruity and touching on flabby but never quite crosses the line, nor does it ever become jammy or cloying. Overall it is a fun wine and interesting given the "mash bill"

Popped & poured chilled bottle. Opaque, deep, darkness belies a delicate nose with berry notes sneaking in behind a little bit of heat. Did I catch a hint of evergreen? Nice legs, smoooooth on the palate & a long finish. Mmmmmm..... Stems up!

I thought this wine was really really good. Popped and poured for friends Thanksgiving night, thought it was appropriate considering the day and the name of the wine. Anyway...a very strong wine that will benefit from laying down for a while. The fruit is there and nice...give it some time though.

PnP. Plum, currant, herbs. Full bodied, nice finish. Silkly smooth. Still has a few years of life.

Decanted for an hour. Consumed a magnum at Metropolitan Grill Steakhouse in Seattle. Very meaty and dark. Paired very well with steak.

Big and jammy with great large fruit flavors. We popped and poured two bottles with friends over dinner and it was #1! Great tasting wine.

- Medium forming legs. It's overly tannic with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a long finish - Wish I had more because it needs a few yrs.

Solid bottle, but still fairly tight. More wood than fruit. Solid wine that needs time.
