(Wineapalooza With Friends.) A marvel, really. Was never cellared during its three decades in bottle. Yet, except for slight bricking, this was in excellent shape following closet storage. A fairly simple Port, as the tasting notes from others reflect. But a tasty partner to blue cheese and walnuts, and a good close to our tasting. Drink now.

Perfect winter night for a glass of 30 year old, 1994 Vintage Port in front of a fire. It’s not the best port but for 30 years it has aged well and is still bright, not oxidized, and has plum fruit notes

This was a nice pairing with chocolate cake dessert, silky smooth, superbly balanced, ripe sweet fruits for wonderful casual sipping.
At 28 years, this showed no signs of diminution from aging whatsoever, likely at the peak of its drinking window, but with another decade or two of life left yet. The label, fill level, foil, seal and cork were all in pristine condition. sea

Note: I use a rating scale for which 85 represents a very good wine.
Drank over a few days. Smooth and easy to drink. Flavors not that pronounced, although the wine was well-balanced. I don't have a lot of experience in drinking Port, so this TN needs to be taken within this context.

No structure to speak of, simple, with ample heat. Still a pleasant surprise, showing youthful color, fresh chocolate covered fruit, light to medium weight and decent length. Well cellared since release, this certainly hasn't improved with age, but gives almost as much pleasure now as it ever did.

Leo Turns 60! (It's Greek To Me): I loved this. The texture was just so smooth and elegant. Packed with flavor, but in a controlled way that was extremely satisfying. An absolutely rocking way to finish the tasting!

CNY Wines at the Toks (Cashew Heights): From an unusual 1000ml bottle. I actually really enjoyed this. Simple maybe, but drinking nicely and it was quite the perfect drink for a night of gin rummy and Bak Kwa (Chinese BBQ pork slices). When poured, the wine showed a reddish brown hue and a rich, perfumy nose of with complex notes of mahogany wood, dark chocolate, molasses and dried figs, dates and sultanas sprinkled with toasty gingerbread spice. The palate had both a lovely creamy texture as well as great freshness, which formed a nice, very drinkable frame for yummy flavours of dried black fruits golden syrup, sultanas and spice - cloves and nutmeg I thought - at the finish. With time, some minerally earth notes started popping out. I really liked this. Not the most powerful or profound port, but a very nice LBV indeed.

I bought this from Hart Davis Hart retail for $15 about a month ago. For the price can't beat it. Overall, this is very nice with lots of different flavors. It lacks front and mid weight. Just not enough power of fruit. Back end is plenty harsh this is not going anywhere but not sure how much time this has left. I am young and have not had any very aged ports to compare. For a non-vintage I think this is pretty amazing.

Not complex. It doesn’t have the acid or complexity to make it rate higher. Disappointing, as I’d hoped this would have been better..

Still drinking well. Opened and drank over a number of weeks and it held up.

smooth & silky, ripe sweet fruit. Fun dessert wine but no magic.

A great tasting port. Long smooth finish. None of the harshness I remember from the other bottles I've had. Has improved with age.

Nice almost mature port although it should have been enjoyed many years ago when it posessed fruitiness.

Drank very well, but lacks the refinement of a true VP. A little too grapey and a touch of harshness. For the money it's very good.
