Drinking very well. Light on its feet, but with character. Day 1, I felt glad to have opened this one as it seemed unlikely to have more to offer if held longer. Day 2, I was surprised that it was maybe even better. Could have more life to give than i originally thought. Would not hesitate to drink now, but could hold a little longer.

Pinot Noir 2010: Switzerland vs Burgundy (Bern): Served to "enviner" the wine glasses, given its modest appellation, but with the aim to surprise the friends at the table. I didn't take a TN, but the wine was lovely, still young and refined as you wouldn't expect from a Passetoutgrain. At the end of the tasting this was one of the three empty bottles.

Mid to full garnet, bricking at the rim. Still bright and vibrant but this has taken on a more serious and savoury complexion in the three years since I last had a bottle of this — with David as it happens. Some sous bois notes in with the fruit. Ideal served cool with charcuterie. ***

Cherry red in colour, now fading to the edges. Solid Pinot punch on the nose, slightly exotic. Good crunchy red cherry/raspberry fruit with dry but balanced tannins. Lovely mouth feel and good finish. Superb value and drinking great right now.

Quite superb for a Passetoutgrains. Spice and wild cherry and raspberries - rounded but good structure and acidity . Mr Clark's retirement from being a vigneron a great shame
Very Good, drank at cellar temp on a hot day and worked very well, cool blue fruits, nice spice and acid well under control - closer to a Bourg than Passet - nice

Popped and poured, then followed over three days. Medium ruby, clear. Earthy, deep, spicy. With fine, fleshy dark berries, very appealing. On the palate it has substance, again with dark berries, but it's very fresh. Dark tones, grainy structure, with a finish towards licorice, without ever getting there. Beautiful progression, good grip, nice balance. Very lovely. Amazing QPR. I believe it has a long life ahead.

Over Delivers as usual, restrained elegant nose - light body with supple fruit and pleasing acidity yet still with sous bois characters - the Gamay adds rather than detracts and this could easily be mistaken for a quality village burg

Colour: (very) light ruby, even a bit orange. Nose: smoke. Taste: sour cherries and strawberry, smoke and a hard to define, but with a very nice terroir-note. With good acidity very fresh. I agree with Dids (see below): the great balance makes this wine very attractive. Light (to medium) bodied. Gorgeous, classy wine. I should say: at its peak. 90.

Racey acidity light tannic bite, letting the bright crunchy strawberry fruit express itself. On the nose bright red fruits and touch of greeness (nettles?) mingle with light cedar notes. There is a persistence and light touch to the length, that makes this a perfect foil to the stew.

Perfect balance is the key to this wine. Not earth shattering, not mind blowing. It offers simple pleasures to simple folk like myself.
Light to medium notes of cranberry, cherry and raspberry with floral tones. The merest whiff of merdre briefly bemuses one. Bright, energetic and medium build in the mouth. Some tannic grip but not invasive. Lovely fresh acidity.
A pleasure to drink.

Intense nose of cherries, cranberries and strawberries with some floral highlights, mushroomy hints, olives and citrus. Medium bodied and hugely energetic palate with vibrant red to dark berry fruit, juicy acidity and slight tannic bite. Nice citrusy bitterness and tangerine flavor on the mid-palate. Focused and joyous. Insanely good. Thanks Otto!

Informal note from Burgundy holiday tasting. Decanted for an hour or so. Perfumed nose, good fruit and freshness on the palate. Light to medium bodied but not lacking in concentration of flavours.
