  • BM Dinner (Summer Pavilion): My favourite vintage. Highly expressive and airy aromas of passion fruits, savouriness, touch of stem and loaded with blue and darker fruits, iron and underbrush.
Fresh entry, very nice acidity and minerality with ripe fruits perfectly supported at the back, the 2010 profile that I really enjoy. Again, growing intensity that slowly coated the mouth, long and savory. Very fresh and intense. However tonight this is still quite shy and didn’t show the weight of 2010, especially a Beze.

Day-2: this has firm up with better depth and better mouthfeel. Prove that this is still in its youth and required more bottle Aging.

  • 375ml bottle. Good nose, clean and floral just lack a bit of intensity. Notes of forest floor, violet, black berry and strawberry. Unresolved tannins with dry mid-palate. Racy acidity with 13.5% alcohol but no heat. Medium bodied but seems to lack density. Waiting for a bigger wine to emerge. Put on slightly more weight the next day but still slightly acidic. I think I just commit an ultimate sin by scoring a Grand Cru Brugundy such as this lower than a Cathiard L'orme 2009 village level wine. It is what it is! 92-94 pts.
