I was hoping this would show me that grenache can be good, but unfortunately it didn't. Apart from it seeming thin its not a bad wine - nothing juts out or is out of balance and I like that's its low in alcohol. Just nothing to get excited about.

Still drinking very well despite my predictions of being an early drinker. Lively floral nose outshines palate but truly a nice CdR in a style that no one else does. This wine shows grenache in a way that only a few top wines do, as a grape capable of finesse.

Deep garnet color. Nose of red fruits, cinnamon' boysenberry and it gives off a little heat.
The palate is all red fruit and acid - a touch of bitter lemon on the finish. Heat on the nose is not present, no surprise as it clocks in at only 12.5% abv. Tannins are fine grained and barely noticeable. Finish is medium and a touch bitter. A lithe wine that lacks nuance, but is very easy to drink. Overall very good QPR.

Labeled as a CdR, but a grenache in reality. This WAY overdelivers for the price point. It's still a bit young, so slightly a bit tight on the pop and pour, but opened up after about 20-30 min. It's not overly complex with layer upon layer of different flavors...but it's very easy to drink while maintaining traditional Rhone qualities. At ~$13 this is an absolute steal. I'll be buying more of it if I can find it.

Good table wine is hard to find; most of them are failed premium wines; they have problems and lacking simplicity. This is good Cotes du Rhone table wine.

Popped and poured. Aromas of berries, vanilla. Lovely currant/blackberry flavor. Vanilla, spice, tartness in the finish.
This is an absolutely lovely, classic, delicious CDR. Forward and friendly flavors supported by a firm backbone. Some complexity. The tart finish provides a perfect foil to the fruity and delicious front end.

At restaurant Bistro (Helsinki 15). Subtle berries on the nose. Light bodied, rather smooth on the palate, delivering crunchy tart red and dark berries. Firm acidity and vibrant tannins. Pretty tart and acidic but paired nicely with the various food.

served cool but sappy red crunch fruit with good acidity and a candied floral component that was a compliment to a pork belly dish in an asain marinade with black rice and a chiffonade of snap peas..very pretty CDR..

From memory. Light, crunchy red fruits with a bit of earth and great minerality. Really nice. Great acids. Just so much lither and happier than most Cotes du Rhones.

Enjoyed this. Not your typical CdR though: Light, and elegant with bright red cherry type fruit. Nice clarity and intensity, not something usually found in a Southern Rhone red wine. One of those wines that's gone within minutes of opening. Buy a bottle and drink it now. No reason to hold.

light in color, more like PN than most CdR in appearance. Similarities don't end there. Transparent, fresh, vibrant fruit scents and flavors rarely seen in grenache IMO. This is all about pure fruit, and while not particularly complex it is an excellent CdR. Avoids all of the medicinal over extracted flavors so many S Rhones have. Going back for more of this.

Beautiful, deep ruby color. Clean, fresh, sunny nose with rich aromas of florals, fresh red berries, some strawberries and a little rustic character that reminds me of French farmhouse ciders. Generous and intense palate with ripe sweet fruit, alcohol warmth, peppery spice, cherry and ripe raspberry. Despite its rich flavors the wine boasts wonderful elegance, having lovely terroir undertones of loam, earth, some French farmhouse cider and a hint of sous-bois. No noticeable oak flavors. Easy on the tannins and smooth, medium acidity. Dry and lengthy finish with baked spice, pepper, strawberry, some warmth and a little vanilla.
A positive, balanced and characterful Côtes du Rhône with nice depth and focus and an overachiever for a wine of the appellation level. A wonderful purchase at 13,30€.
