Pale gold, fine mousse. Apple and peaches on the nose. Apples and stone fruits with some yeast nice texture that is quickly lost as the bubbles disappear. Drink up this is not for keeping

Cork was easy to remove? May have allowed the wine to oxidize. Colour of old gold, fine persistent bubbles. Musty Nose? while retaining its fruity flavours it has an overriding oxidised taste.
Not to the standard of previous bottles, could it just be an odd bottle!

Golden color, small bubbles. A really expressive nose, but one that possesses alarmingly developed aromas. Crisp baked apple is mixed with mushroom and mocca/nougat notes. The combination of minerality and earthiness creates a sense of rustiness. On the palate the wine is fresh and energized by citrusy acidity. Big, gentle mousse is markedly long-lasting. Bold, ripe and vinous, but not massive or clumsy at all. Quite refreshing actually with loads of ripe red apple and savoury red fruit. Finishes slightly sour with a delicious hazelnut note. Improves somewhat for the first half an hour or so, but at some point after dinner the wine starts to become a bit one-dimensional and boring by losing its crispness. Still, considering the poor vintage and low price this is a solid Champagne for current drinking but I would definitely not keep this for too long.

750ml; PnP; moderate nose of lemon and minerals; tart flavors of lemon and granny smith apples with a bit of sourdough bread; Tart, young, vibrant with good mousse with small bubbles; Good length on the palate (especially the tartness).
