Light gold color. PNP, drank a glass over 90 minutes. This was so vibrant, sizzling acidity, sparking with tangerine and green apple at the forefront. Orange blossoms, wet stone, oh so subtle petrol, and citrus zest with a long crisp finish. No rush here.

Deep gold color. Drank glasses on consecutive nights. Darker color than you might expect at this age, but dang this firing on all cylinders. Great nose with a cornucopia of fruits, bright red apple, peach, pineapple and lemon, with apple blossoms and slate and very little in the way of fusil. The palate is boisterous with a robust palate of ripe, sweeter than expected fruits, though this sure has the acid to carry it. Bright apple, succulent peaches, lemon curd, and tropical fruits laced with a streak of wet slate minerals, very tart and tangy with that almost spritzy palate fee; and now the fusil comes through too. Excellent.

Deep gold in color. A bit advanced for its age but the nose and palate were outstanding. Not the weight of a Spatlese or Auslese but wasn't expecting that. A bit sweet but cut with piercing acidity. Good amount of extract for a Kabinett and enough minerality to make it quite complex. The finish is longer than expected. Very good bottle. I think it's time to drink up.

Impressive for a kabinett. I'm a big fan of this 2010 vintage. So complex with striking minerality - slate, chalk. Lots of nervous energy on the midpalate, almost effervescent, with long long finish. 93-94 pts.

First experience with top German wine from top vineyard and top producer. Color is very pale, greenish yellow. Aroma is floral, dense and peachy, like an Alsace vendage tardive, which is my only point of reference. Kabinett is supposed to be the less ripe of the quality categories, but this is a wonder of density and body. The color doesn't give a hint of the sheer thickness of the liquid. Taste is an initial rush of sweet peach that dries off to a tooth-peeling acidity... like a super-sugared limeade. This is absolutely delicious, and dangerously easy drinking.

Fairly similar than two years ago. The petrol notes are starting to pop though. Lean, sweet, high acid, good length. Enjoyable Kabinett.

Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch (Erben Müller-Burggraef) Riesling Tasting with Owner Barbara Rundquist Muller (Ristorante Luci, St. Paul, MN): Medium gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. This was outstanding, bright nose with striking minerality, spices, apple, pear, smoke, floral. The palate is viscous, coating, apples, pear, citrus notes with some apricot, nice acid, excellent minerality. The saline infused finish is long. This was well balanced and very enjoyable for such a young wine. 92+pts.
