Clear, dark red in the glass with some slight bricking. Nice Bordeaux nose of black fruits, graphite, earth, copper. Lush and juicy in the mouth; black fruit, woodsmoke and graphite up front, some cranberry coming out midpalate, then onto a short metallic finish. Good acidity, tannins. 13 % alcohol, paid around $12.

basically crap! very watery with oak on the palate and very little fruit(bing cherries). decent amount of acid. Thought I would give it a try for $ 12.00 and I got exactly that. Would never buy again.

Interesting nose which is dominated by Oak. I had decanted the wine for around 1.5 hours. An extremely smooth wine with minimal tannins; however a very simple one dimensional wine in the taste department. Pleasant but just not exciting

Nothing stellar. Nose of an old bookstore or british library. drinkable but unremarkable. Better on day 2 , mellow tart raspberry flavors coming through.

Am I drinking the same wine? I found it to be very bland, lacking any structure. Tried another glass the next night and decided to pour the rest down the drain. It wasn't offensive, but there is so much wine, too little time...

An astonishingly drinkable bdx at $10. It does taste like it, even the tannins are there. Nothing sticking out. As said elsewhere, there is substantially worse stuff at 2x the price...

Bordeaux Tasting: Brick red color. Dark red fruits, with a fairly big body. The tannins are fairly light. Some tobacco comes across on the nose and the palate. Pretty remarkable for less then $15. 85-86

2005 Bordeaux Tasting with ExCellars (Specialty Imports): Some brick highlights starting to show. Toasted oak, earth, black cherries, and warm spices on nose. The palate is complex and backwards with tobacco, cedar, vanilla, and currants. Balanced acidity, and a tannic finish. Excellent bottle for a great price.

Fruity, easy drinking but recognizable as Bordeaux, albeit lightweight. Adequate acid and soft tannins lend structure but still gulpable. Good choice with rotisserie chicken. Who says Bordeaux can't be good QPR?

No major flaws, but nothing exciting here. I've had better Bordeaux in the $10-15 range. Light fruit without any compelling reason to drink.

Very well balanced with hints of vanilla and chocolate with a smooth finish. Slight tannin. One of the best Bordeaux I've had.
