Great fino, delicate, but precise. Nutty and savoury, but not too aggressive, gentle and yet well defined. The nutty, almondy aftertaste is particularly pleasant. Paired with some italian Tarallini it is simply the perfect aperitif both in summer and winter.

Served after our gold standard manzanilla, the Solear of Barbadillo, the saline character of the 'puerto' was noticeable, but the nose was deeper, more complex and less fresh. In the mouth it was also broader and more complex and lacking the energy of the manzanilla. Excellent drink nevertheless.

Very pale yellow-green color - like a riesling kabinett without the limpidity. Light, fresh nose of almonds, hydrocarbons, seaweed, pine and some lemon. Briny and intense on the palate. Very long finish of more brine, grilled white meat, and herbs that starts off soft and rises in intensity for a good 30 seconds before fading off just as slowly.

This was a Fino - not sure if i've entered it correctly. Utterly delicious - it starts dry and fino like and then fills out in the mouth to become almost chewy in its intensity. Open a half and its difficult not to finish it! very good

En Fino som är mer som en Oloroso. Tål förmodligen lång kylskåpslagring. Avnjöts till oliver, korvar och lufttorkad skinka. Fantstiskt bra starter!

Brine/iodine, almond skin/marzipan, lime, herb, very fresh and acid driven, but with a pleasant creamy quality.
