This has evolved a bit since we last opened one of these. Unfortunately, this is our last bottle. Dark garnet, plenty of dark fruit and spice on the nose. Palate was smooth and elegant, with more structure than dominant fruit. Long, pleasant finish. We have a few of the 2011's in the cellar, maybe try to be patient with those as well. We opened this after a Bisci verdicchio with the appetizers. Also an elegant and acidic white, they worked well together.

PnP. Lovely rich Sangiovese nose. Medium bodied on the palate with a nice protypical acidic finish. Went very well with an early summer pasta dish of linguini with cherry tomatoes, corn, and eggplant. Drinking well and consistent with the last bottle.

PnD let air for 1hr. Bright garnet purple with clear rim. Floral cherry nose with a touch of orange peel and cola which became more expressive over as the wine opened up over a couple of hours. Medium(-) with smooth yet cherry pit tannins. Vibrant fresh flavours of cherry anise orange peel and black tea. Lingering kirschy finish. This is a baby. Saved 1/3 bottle to try tomorrow.

C'était bien, mais sans plus. Tannins assez fin. Bien balancé. Plus un vin de structure que d'arôme. Cerise, cèdre, cuir, fruits rouges (dans l'ordre) Meilleur avec le repas. Bon, mais pas d'effet "wow". À réessayer vers 2017-2018 RQP ***

Dark and clear, tight nose of black fruits and some cocoa, on palate - not very balanced (not yet?), bit sour aftertaste, short-med finish. Not my favorite Chianti or maybe too young...

Much more forward than the last bottle;medium bright red, lovely and rather soft but with good acidity. Good drinking now but will keep; much different than the last bottle.

PnP. Medium dark red. Sangiovese nose of red fruit and tar. Quite intense on the palate with coating tannins on the finish. Young but good. Would say this needs 3-5 years to smooth out.

Plum and berries, wood, licorice, herbs. Strong tannins, good acidity and minerality. Tasty. I expect this would improve with several more years of aging.

Deep dark reddish garnet in color. Forward, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe red fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & currants with dried herbs, spices, earthy/dusty, minerals, some cocoa notes and toasted oak in the background. Medium-deep to medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced, smooth textured, ripe red fruit flavors of berries, cherries & plums with dried herbs, spices, earthy, truffles, minerals, a touch of cocoa and toasted oak. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting and extended airing and will benefit and develop further with additional three to five years of aging.

A nice sangiovese nose of plum and black cherry. Very concentrated, but extremely dry and rough tannins. Old world winemaking style. Oak was very noticeable. Firm acidity. A candidate for at least 5 tears of aging.

Wonderful deep leather and cherry flavor nice depth but little pungent finish. Needs air to calm down. I drank a glass just after opening that bottle

Day2 lots of depth and integration. Would still drink up but air it for a bit longer. +1pt.

Nice black cherry and orange peel nose, but mid-palate is light and finish is short, so final impression is of alcohol and acid

Solid CC from a great vintage. Cherries on the nose and palate, some cinnamon, and with nice earthy tannins and a terrific finish. Textbook.

Anteprima Chianti Classico 2013 & Toscana IGT (50 TN inside!!) (Firenze (Italy) - Stazione Lepolda): Similar to the Classico 2010, but less powerful and impressive.
