Good. Clear, deep, ruby with a narrow rim and legs. Clean, medium, fully developed nose of blackberry, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds and cold tea. Dry, medium acid, medium slighty unripe 'cold tea' tannins, high alcohol, medium bodied, medium flavour intensity of blackberry, coffee grinds and bitter chocolate. Medium length bitter and dry finish. Good. Lacks the complexity or refinement of tannin to be any better and the alcohol sticks out. Drink now / Tired, this may already be a year or two too old. Cork.

Bright purple in color, this wine, a blend of 70% Garnacha Tintorerra(?) and 30% Monastrell, showed black raspberry, spicy cherry, roasted herbs and black pepper. The mouth feel was medium and smooth and brought added notes of anise, plum, toast and smoke. The finish was medium in length and the tannins, acidity and fruit came together seamlessly.
Purchased for only $8.99US, this wine is very well made and an outstanding value. My score is higher than the 2012 Laya I tasted on 1/22/14 as the defined bitter chocolate notes in the 2012 are not to my liking. I liked the 2011 much more. Laya is a steal for the price.

This had a dark, pungent bouquet of dirt, coffee, black cherry, plum, anise and roasted herb aromas. The palate was ripe, earthy and dry with flavors of dirt, mocha, cola, black cherry, plum, burnt toast, herbs and spice.

Sweet cherries and coffee on the nose. Cola on the palate. Nice flavor profile but the wine is a bit rough at this point. Still, a nice value in the $8 range.

Bought a case of this, popped one of the bottles to see if it lived up to the hype. Very pleased for the $7 price tag. Unfortunately I don't recall the flavor profile, just noted that I enjoyed it.

The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Blackberry, Cherry, Petrol, Vanilla, and Sandalwood. It tastes like Blackberry, Vanilla, and Coconut. The body is Medium. The wine has Angular texture. The wine finishes Medium.

Overall well put together .. only problem I had was the overwhelming oak (vanilla) influence that pretty much just obliterated all the other flavors. If that's your gig you'll probably love this.

- Brick color with slow forming legs. It's balanced and has flavours of violet with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a long finish - Great value that is perfect with a tomato base bolognaise

Still drinking very nicely. Pomegranate, raspberry, white pepper, soft tannins still in evidence.

Cherry, raspberry, pepper. Enough lift provided by the acidity, very fine tannins. Nice.

Fruit forward Grenache and Monastrell blend. Easy drinking. Would be better with a little tannin. Blend with a little cab?

I really liked the body of this wine. Tannic, but not overpowering. Probably could use a couple of more years in the bottle before drinking.

Black pepper nose. Leggy with a dark ruby color. A snappy start with hints of leather, moving to smoke and currants. Good for price...

Hint of chocolate on the nose, medium dry with some Spanish earth tones complex for such a young wine. Gets better as I drink it. Would try again
