THhis is what you get when you lay down a few of these:light nose of mocha, violets and even a little wet earth. Decent body, a nicely put together mid palette of red fruits and ripe berries. Finish isn’t long, but all together a really good Tuesday night wine. Served this Tuesday with steak au poivre with whipped potatoe and roasted carrots.

after a day open cos it was initially just jammy and gross
nose: ripe blueberries, cedar, star anise, bell pepper
palate: quite ripe but very well structured and balanced. medium body. there's a lot of black fruit [ripe blackberries, dried fig, plum], spice [star anise, vanilla, black tea, even espresso] and a surprising amount of depth. the cedary finish lingers a bit
it says 'delicious new world cab' loud and clear

On a bit of a Washington kick at the moment and sampling a few from our beloved Columbia Valley. I would say this offers a pretty basic example, albeit reasonably priced; a bit one-dimensional but with a moderate amount of berry fruit and a bit of grip. I might be looking for alternatives for the future.

My wife used half of bottle for a tasty boeuf bourguignon so I tried a glass when she cooked and another glass 36h later. Dark garnet. Vanilla and dark berries on the nose, a fair bit of oak and a bit lactic, sweet but also a touch bitterness on the palate, fine tannins. Nice medium finish. Holds up well in the fridge over almost two days.
Not sure how much this is selling for but am quite sure it would be good value. If I had any more would put aside for another year as the oak might integrated a bit more and there is some structure for short term aging.

A simple cab...like a cab you'd get on an airplane trip. I drank it over several days, and it always seemed the same. It's drinkable, but nothing special.

Deep garnet appearance. Jammy, sweet, and fruity notes of black and blue fruit, dust, oak, chocolate, and spices. Decent texture but feels syrupy, lacks a spine, and reeks of simplicity.

Popped and poured, and consumed over two nights. Aroma is dark fruits and some graphite. Taste has some plum and blackberry, but this is a very simple wine. I know it's a lower priced wine, but I thought it might have a little more something to it.

Drank with my mom. She thinks it is crisp, not heavy, a bit dry. I think it's a nice drink with an easy scent. Flavors on the front end are blackberries, with a hint of dry on the middle and a smooth finish. Really quite enjoyable for an easy drinkable glass, or two.

We really didn't care for this wine on day one. We had about half the bottle and then just left it on the counter, uncovered and uncorked the the night. Decided to try it the next night since it didn't smell spoiled, and it was 100x better than on day one. It's still not a show stopper, but it's a dang good value Cabernet.

Bought this gem based on the scores from a couple of professional reviewers, including Wine Spectator, and it's every bit as good as they'd said. I predict that the store is going to have a hard time keeping it in stock. Completely delicious, even for such a young wine, and could easily do battle with the more expensive Cabernets out there.

Cork looked good but may be past its time. I'll make sangria with it.
