It's very nice, and inexpensive. I would use this for mimosa or mixing with juices. It doesn't have much flavor and has a slightly metallic aftertaste - maybe mineral but on the back of the throat. Anyway, I prefer their Gruet label (same wine maker)

Gifted from a friend. Pale straw yellow, fine bubbles. Smells like sweet apples and pears, little biscuit. Crisp, dryer on the palate than nose alludes, bright acidity, longish finish, with flavors of green apple, pear, lemon, touch of mineral. Not bad. Didn't realize this was Gruet.

Smoke em if you got em. Ain't getting any better, but I think some of the others here might be unduly harsh. Perfectly serviceable as a cheap, dry sparkling option before it goes rotten. At $9 a bottle, had it not been a "gift," I would have felt like I got what I paid for.

Really not very good. Lacks balance and structure. I got duped by Wired for Wine on this one--won't buy from them again. It is serviceable for Kir Royales, however.

This sparkler had head like a glass of beer! Foamy bubbles! Quite unique in that regard. The nose was gentle and understated but a little alcohol getting in the way. Off-dry, good flavor... I'm giving it an extra point just on the account of it being $9 slim bucks! Can't really go wrong, and how cool that it's from New Mexico.

Surprisingly good little champagne from New Mexico of all places. Small bubbles, citrus on the nose, a lot drier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely turn to again for a low cost champagne.

Golden hued, fine bubbles. The fruit was there with citrus predominating and not much else going on. Lacks the complexity I'd want in a bubbly. More subtle, less acidic than the Cavas that are my go-to, but also at twice the price.

TWC does NV Champagnes (John's House on Utica): Pale gold with slow moving small bubbles (from a Riedel Vinum Prestige Cuvee Glass). An enticing doughy nose with apple and lemons. More dough and yeast in the mouth. Terrific value for less than $10. Bone dry finish.

Apple, a little nutty. Nice acidity, lots of small bubbles, creamy. Paired well with some soft cheese.

While a tad sweeter than Gruet's normal brut, this is still dry yet a little creamy. Really nice summer sipper with a superb price tag!

Compelling substance, acid, and balance for the price. Fine mousse and bubbles. Imminently quaffable. 85-86.

Closeout purchase: $2.99. Very good mousse, substance, acid, and balance. Drinks like an Extra Dry. Wholly enjoyable.

Strong difference of opinion here. I found it interesting, rounded, and balanced, with very good acid. A bistro quality sparkling that loves food.

Not bad, but nothing special, a little better than your grocery store brut.

Drinkable but little more. Flavors are not what I expected after being excited to try a wine from this state. Came away disappointed though.

A perfectly OK $7 bottle of bubbles. About what I expected. Simple

Horrible flabby chemical-tasting suckitude. Resist Bevmo's $7.77 sale - this bottle is well past it's sell-by date.
