Color: Medium dark yellow Nose: Aromatic, light tropical base with lemon on top Mouthfeel and flavor: Medium with viscous, warming, flavor same as nose with light, tropical fruit base with medium lemon on top. Acidity balances body so that the wine is not flabby but is not a sharp acidity. Slight butterscotch in base also.

Nice, easygoing wine. Tropical fruits, a touch of sweetness, and decent acidity. A strange bitter note on the finish makes me think this is getting up in years. (Clear bottle probly doesn't help.) Still, a good buy at the sale price of $9. 85-87

Light gold. Loads of green apple on the nose which is pleasing to the nose and the palate. Medium bodied weigh with zingy acidity and verve. Medium length and the finish was a touch off balanced with bitter tones.

From the 5 course tasting menu at Valentino, Las Vegas. This wine was paired with a trio of seafood samples including a lobster puree wrapped in swordfish, a Mediterranean sea bass and a porcini crusted amber jack fish, which it seems is a fancy name for a simple bluefish. This wine had a nose that slightly resembled Riesling but not as much sweetness and a slight butane note. Crisp and lots of minerality on the palate. Paired best with the bluefish, which was actually my least favorite of the seafood trio samples but the wine made it work quite well.

A staple in our household since a while. Mineral, fruit, very enjoyable. Perfect to drink on its own, but a great match to lots of foods as well. As opposed to other commenters, we prefer other wines to fish though (often sauvignon blanc).

Very enjoyable. A light lemon Pledge note with apples, persimmon and wet stones. Medium-bodied, dry with a clean, lingering and building finish. Juicy orchard fruits with a peach-like edge and an inner core that borders on stone fruit and tropical. A superb value for just $13, drink thru 2010, 13,5% abv.

This bottle was not as enjoyable as others I have had of this wine, and I am not certain if this was due to the fact that the other bottles I have had were from a different vintage or the fact that they had some more age on them or both. I suspect the second. Regardless, still a decent bottle, and an absolutely perfect accompaniment to seafood pasta with a simple garlic oil sauce.

Great Acidity, tingles your tongue and palate. Smokey, burnt toast tones, maybe even a hint of diesel. Gluey minerals, yet relatively light. Must be a quality match with spicey asian food or garlicky honey-mustard paste on toast. 12 degrees is the perfect temperature. Drink now but buy two and keep one for indian summer evenings.

Soft white fruit but nose and palate dominated by minerality. Reminds me of eating oysters. Long beautiful minerally finish. Very good. Paired amazingly well with a grilled tuna with tapenade.

Very ncie white. Bouquet reminds me of gewurztraminer - very floral. Similar to gewurz, the wine is "plainer" in the mouth - dry, but not a lot of fruit or complexity.

honeysuckle on this nice, a bit of motor oil at the front end with some nice acidity/citrus on the finish. A little unfocused and lacking some acid "bite" on the finish.

Just enough of the good stuff to break the 90 point glass ceiling. Very golden in color. Shy, but unique nose of perfume and ripe white fruit. The fruit has complex layers of enormous peach, nectarine, melon, and lemon. Feels very big in the mouth, but not over the top. Very fresh and elegant. Nice job with the acid profile. There is a very nice touch of honey on the finish

Light golden yellow, aromatic nose with lychee, white flowers. Medium plus body, slightly unctuous, medium acid. Concentrated flavors, pineapple, floral perfume, lychee. Would pair well with Thai dishes (reminded me of Zenat's Lugano, will have to taste sidebyside).

Nose was a little funky, but it blew off after a bit. A bit of a tarty SB kind of taste. Not unpleasant, but also not something I would seek out.

Tis one is slipping a bit in our rankings. Detected a hint of chard in this one; not sure if it was me or the wine.

Nice floral nose a bit of lemon and straw. Mineral on the tong with a long finish. I will buy more of this for spring.

Visual: Clear, Light gold
Nose: Bananna giving way to melon like Honey Dew and some tropical fruit.
Taste: Mineral leading to light melon, crisp
This is a good summer wine that could work well on its own or with shell fish and even salad.
