Delicious. Notes of strawberry jam, blueberries, iron, meat, pepper, and grass. Good weight; moderate tannins and acidity. Still fruit forward; will be interesting to watch this progress.

Our last of four bottles and it did not disappoint. I think it’s drinking in a great spot right now with 30 minutes of air. Still fresh and initially jammy but with time in the glass it reveals much more. Notes of game meat blood, green olive brine, and white pepper. The wine finishes with enough acidity to cleanse with food. Delicious, cooler climate are Syrah from a warmer vintage that just works well to create an interesting and tasty wine. It could easily go longer in the cellar but there is no real need.

I didn't love this wine at first but tried it the second day and it is outrageous! The blueberry, raspberry and cherry mix with light spice and the texture is wonderfully smooth.

I didn't love this wine but it was ok. A bit too much jam and a little too sweet for my taste. I found myself tolerating it rather than drinking it. For me, there are so many other wines that I enjoy so I wouldn't buy this again but it was worth a try.

Started out as a blueberry/camphor bomb, but after 30 minutes of decanting, the saline, the bacon fat, the blood started to peek through. After an hour it was seamless. Bravo!

Spot-on SBC cool climate Syrah. Blue fruited with a nice, stemmy and savory undertone. For whatever reason, this showed a slightly candied (though not over-ripe or over-extracted) flavor to the fruit, which I've not experienced before in this wine. I'm guessing a transitional phase that will shake itself out. Still, lip-smacking delicious.

Black cherry, olive, sea salt, dried herb, and a trace of stem inclusion. A little candied, but not, over done or hot at all...maybe not perfect for table, but a darn good sipper and crowd pleaser. 3 more in the cellar, I look forward to seeing the progression.

This came off a little candied in style for me. Has a mixture of olive and dried flower in the aromatic, then some menthol and red candied cherry in the palate.
