Straw with a touch of lemon in the color. The nose has white fruit and floral notes, with a hint of toasted almond. Not the most complex, but showing true to terroir with some secondary development. The palate is medium-full with well integrated and energizing acidity. Very harmonious. Leads into an admirable finish. This is not the most exciting wine, but it's a good expression of Savigny that is well integrated and drinking nicely at the moment.

5/6. 1 glass coravined. Pale/med gold. Rich, ripe nose, stone fruit, butter, touch of acacia showing. Medium/full, ripe stone fruits, butter, creamy edge, vibrant acidity, then a touch of lemon and mineral on the very good length finish. Excellent, drinking well. Finished 17/12 - no discernible change.

3/6, 1/2 bottle coravined. Buttery, broad nose, showing a touch of soil as it warms a touch. Medium bodied, creamy, ripe fruit on initial entry, quite broad then lovely, vibrant acids introduce citrus and even a touch of mineral on the very good length finish. This is excellent and drinking well.
Finished 25/2, completely consistent.

Q1 - 2017 Tasting - Starts with the Letter.... (notes from another taster) (New York, NY): #12 of 17 wines tasted double blind. Ah-hah - so strange to find a white in our line up after 11 red wines. I don't drink much white wine - so the guessing skills are useless here. I knew it wasn't new world chard - as it was not oaky or buttery. Didn't really do anything for me, but it was fine. Some white drinkers in the group voted in 4 pennies.

Q1 2017 Tasting - Starts with the Letter (The Apt): Wine #12: Very clearly a white Burgundy which isn't really my style of wine. Has that more intense Chardonnay after taste. Was enjoyed by the group though (4 pennies)

Pale lemon/straw. Aromatic, floral yet quite creamy and rich. Medium bodied, creamy pear, quite light and fresh yet also with creamy breadth, decent length finish. Excellent wine.

Pale/medium straw. Nose shows creamy pear fruit, freshness, touch of lemon, white flowers, hint of spice. Medium/full bodied, attractive, slightly creamy pear fruit, touch of butter, quite generous, very good length finish. Not overly complex but perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious.

Still drinking well, but ultimately not the most interesting expression of Savigny blanc.

Fat and very chardonnay - it's really quite exotic.

I hoped for more from this. Clean chardonnay fruit, some oak which came through after a while, pleasant but not really very exciting
