Bought this out of the store cooler and perhaps served too cool but I could still get a sense of the potential here. Classy stuff and not the least bit over the top with some depth to its red fruit flavor profile. I'll try another soon. The May 3rd note from Mike K. below says it better than I.

Just a real treat, there is an inspired intensity and concentration that is the result of trying to make world class rose. An unusual for a rose, blend of grapes, some of them white. It doesn't take much imagination to perceive this a Provencal in style. A complete mouth full of flavors all the way from strawberry to honey, apple, cherry, grapefruit and even a touch of earth. Rich, but still crisp.

Since summer won't end here in northern CA, might as well have a Rose'. One of the best Rose's I've had in a while. Mouth watering acidity lingers, along with the strawberry and white peach flavors and some minerality. Very refreshing.

Phenomenal Rose -mostly dry and crisp with a great balance of slightly tart berry fruit (from the Rousanne and Grenache Blanc), balanced with a spice and smoky wood that lingers (nice touch with Cinsault).

Portland: The city of Rosés! (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Awesome seeing the ingredients on the label. This offered a lean aromatic profile. Pretty soft. The palate is nicely texture, pretty soft, with decent fruit. The finish is tart but gets a little off balanced and funky after some time. Kind of strange.

Coral pink color with fresh strawberry, melon rind, stone fruit and a hint of floral aromas. On the palate it's dry, and between light and medium bodied with a attractive mouthfeel. It shows strawberry, white peach, spice and mineral flavors. Delightful! Blend of 62% grenache, 17% mourvèdre, 9% roussanne, 6% grenache blanc, 6% cinsault. 12.5%. 7,000 cases produced

I probably sound like a broken record, but more acid is needed to make a complete wine, in my opinion. What's there is pretty and without flaw, I just wish it weren't so formless.

Light with strawberry, saw dust and floral. Should have cost $5.

Balanced, well made. Missing interesting nose. Pallate rather flat. Still a decent wine. Love everything about Bonny Doon.
