Sweetness catching up to and surpassing the acidity now. A bit rounder and denser but not cloying. Some nice spice notes accent the fruit. Maybe waited a little long on this for my taste.

I found this to be outstanding. Still on the young side, but was open for business. Dense yet light. I love the racy acidity that is always found in this wine. One of my favourite spatlese's every year.

Imported by Michael Skurnik Wines. 8% alcohol by volume. Pale, with transparency. Some petrol on the nose; also white flowers and perhaps pear notes but not too scent-specific on the fruit aromas. The wine tastes off-dry but still balanced and inviting. I would rate in the 90's.

Simply delicious. Terrific nose, white peaches, white nectarines, sweet, but balanced with good acidity. My first one of these from 2012, and I was surprised how great it was.

The Roseneck Spätlese is quickly becoming my favorite Riesling in all of Germany. This 2012 is bright, fresh, balanced, mouthfilling, long and finely detailed. Despite the obvious scale of the wine it retains an elegance that exceeds any prior edition of this bottling. This is amazing Riesling.

Pretty nose of lime, peach and rock dust. Electric in the mouth, light bodied but intense in flavor. Key lime and fleshy white peach that lingers through the long finish. Great acidity to balance the sweetness. Just a fantastic young spatlese, I don't know if I'll have the discipline to see how this ages.

Rieslingfeier (New York): This was quite the break from the dominatrix-inspired steely, dry, high-acid wines that came before. Young, well-balanced, teasing with sweetness above the fairly high acid. Not horribly complex.

Clean and fragrant nose with citrus, white grapes, green apple, peach, fine slatey minerality. Light weight, transparent texture, but really intense flavours, feels like the fruits just blowing up. Vibrant, crispy, mouthwatering acids, enough structure to give density and length. Very good balance between acidity and sweetness althouh feels young, full with energy and electricity.

Pretty fantastic, but not exceptional. Wished for more on nose and some more acid to balance the sweetness.

Good, but not outstanding. did not get much minerality. A little bitter on the end.
