Med lemon; a day on and this is showing a pronounced mineral streak on the nose - it couldn't be anything but Chablis! Great aromas - complex and defined; full and rich, showing Grand Cru stucture, the acidity has settled down a little and wave after wave of mineral fruits have revealed themselves. This is epic. Delicious & superb value versus its exalted cousins over the way in the Côte de Beane.

A little golden and honeyed but basically pretty tightly wound on the nose. On swirling a more mineral aroma is liberated; good concentration - still pretty youthful and the acidity builds to a considerable crescendo despite the six years since vintage. Long, very long.

I loved this. Quite a bit of weight on this now. Ripe melon, touch of bitter fruit, great oak with fresh acidity. Also a nice hint of roasted nuts. I imagine when this sheds its baby fat it will be even better.

Quite intense lime green color. Somewhat restrained nose with understated aromas of creaminess, some sweet yellow fruits, a hint of subtle nuttiness and a touch of red apple. The wine is quite full-bodied, rich and weighty, but also noticeably dry and racy on the palate with somewhat restrained flavors of ripe red apples, some creaminess, a little bit of steely minerality, a hint of sweet white peach and a touch of nutty spice. The high acidity lends great intensity and freshness to the wine. The finish is long, dry and quite palate-cleansing with lean and rather intense flavors of steely minerality, some tart green apples, a little bit of creaminess, a hint of almond-driven nuttiness and a touch of chalky mineral bitterness.
A stylish and classic Grand Cru Chablis, but also one that feels very tightly-knit, closed and even somewhat austere at this point. The wine is more about potential and future promise than about immediate enjoyment. There's quite a bit of concentrated fruit here, but it is all masked away under tightly-wound acid structure and lean mineral shell. No point in popping these bottles open in the next few years. Expect the score go up with age.

This is a very typical and nice Les clos. On the nose is mineral and has exellent finesse. Salt, and stones, lemon,a good touch of butter and cream from malolactic fermentation and nutty and almond with long finish.Change and develop in the glass. high acidity and medium body. The wine is going strong and will age further at least the next 10years

Chablis-athon (Chicago, IL): Hard to get a read on this fellow. It was very restrained and shutdown. Subdued on the palate, good minerality and acidity, but there ought to be so much more.

A Matter of Taste tasting (London, Saatchi Gallery): Tasted this wine directly after Pol Roger Champagne Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill and that was not in this wines' advantage. That said, this wine was very elegant with well hidden oak, good citrus and minerals. Good future. No score for today.

From memory. Drank this among a number of other wines. Great minerality and structure as one would expect from this caliber of Chablis. Was great with our deconstructed paella. Sorry no more details. It was a great night!

N3. The heart of Drouhin's Chablis operations is a beauty. Great nose and use of new oak really rounds out palate. Tasting at Phenol.

A tasting portion via Coravin at Le Clos Dubai.
Intensive, but simple. Yellow apples and lemon, sadly, lacking typical Le Clos depth and minerality.
Not bad, overall. Cleans the palate. Maybe I’m harsh and in a hurry - or maybe enomatic made it worse somehow.

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tight and saline nose. Palate shows lemon, sweet, nuts. Not classic Chablis in my mind. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 13.5/20.
