Man I love this wine. A touch of smoke and flint to start with, sea bed mineral, honey, fresh mulch a touch of fresh vanilla and wax. Medium weight on the palate with lots of mineral, citrus and herbs. Great weight and length and great pairing with simple chicken and fresh green beans.

Nose of green grapes. Palate of...dusty green table grapes. Brighter than the Domaine Millet Chablis, but still just as one-dimensional. Not really my thing.

Yellow. Brighter orange aromatics. Spicy citrus without overripeness or tropicality. Airier than the Meo wine and altogether pretty elegant for the Maconnais.

From magnum. Really beautiful if you don't mind a little oak, this is oaky, lemon curdy, hazelnut, herbs, low acid but well-made and fresh and aromatic. Expensive, though.

A Selection of Non-Cote de Beaune White Burgundy (SF Wine Trading Company): Medium yellow. Underripe pineapple. Quite lush feel, but the wood is more subdued than in the Trenel wine. Buttery but not too exotic. This is looser in style due to lower acidity and probably best consumed on the young side. Very Macon and classier than the Trenel.

Solid white Burg drinking well. Good acidity, but ample fruit. Not for long term, but nice now.

Nice, bright wine. Clean fruit, supporting acidity medium weight. Very good. Brighter and more crisp than the 2010 version.

Solid but not spectacular. A bit linear. Very pretty golden hue but not enough fruit to balance the acidity.
