Not decanted, consumed over 2-3 hours. Seems to be some bottle variation here, as this bottle was not especially reminiscent of our last two - no signs of oxidation here, mixed berry rather than cherry fruit, touches of mint/menthol and something savory which I really enjoyed. We have a couple more of these coming, and I hope they show like this one did.

Not decanted, consumed over ~1 1/2 hours. Something seemed just a touch off here...oxidation? bottle variation? a touch of heat damage? Whatever it was, this remained an enjoyable-enough bottle, with roasty red fruit, some pleasant earthiness, and enough acidity to not fall flat. Probably best over the next couple of years.

One glass consumed over ~30 minutes from a bottle opened the previous evening. This seems a little riper than the 2011, but the black cherry fruit has an edge of tart acidity and there are darker notes of chocolate and something like salted black licorice adding some interest. Still a fine deal at <$10, but this does have more of a "generic red wine" character than the 2011 did.

Medium-deep dark garnet in color. Forward & fragrant nose of ripe red fruit aromas of cherries & berries with minerals, dusty, smoky, cocoa, some spices & dried herbs. Medium bodied with a good concentration of smooth textured, balanced, ripe fruit flavors of cherries & blueberries with minerals, some spices & herbs. Readily accessible at present with some limited potential for further development with several additional years of aging.

i've had this wine not sure if it was this vintage though, this is much better showing, really nice sour blackberry and red fruit, nice color, penetrates, nice juice, you would never know it's 14% is seamless...soft but plush, kinda dusty and dark

PN passed thru vinturi. Color purplish garnet. Nose dark fruits and a little pine. Swishing shows acid and mild tannin with brighter berry fruit. Sipping allows the alcohol to peek out more but palate is smooth and polished with med finish. Great value again this vintage

Dark Grenache color. Fruit roll up and barely detectable oak on the subdued nose. Muddled strawberry and plumb flavors on the medium + weight palate. The sweet upfront fruit leads to an abrupt slightly astringent finish. No distinct Garnache flavors and a bit too sweet.

Youthful looking garnet-purple color, nearly opaque and densely colored with good clear hue. The smells are raspberry, cherry, hoisin, and subtle sweet spices. The tastes are black olive, raspberry, cherry, earth, dark chocolate, blackberry, and woody notes. The tannins are like course satin and there is noteworthy acidity while the body is light to medium weighted.

I don't know if I believe WA and the 90 point rating, but this was very pleasant and quite nice for a Thursday evening. Had it at cellar temperature and it was better at that temperature than warmer as the evening went on. Like other notes, it is an easy-drinking party / mid-week wine, with a good price point.

Thoroughly modern style, smoothed out and cranked up but not without some character. There's a velvety mouthfeel and pleasant toastiness and minerality underneath all the oaky fruit. Fine with weekday dinner, and would probably make a good party wine.

Same note as previous bottle. Still don't love it, though my wife still does. There is an odd flavor I can't put my finger on (to describe it), but keeps me from enjoying the wine. Once I get passed that, there is nice, juicy red fruit, but not a ton more. And it doesn't have the depth or concentration I'd expect from 'old vines' — but it was actually quite refreshing served lightly cooled.

Ruby red rim, doesn't have a lot of texture or depth, but good acidity, bright red fruit and friendly to food. Price is accurate, would not pay more. Certainly not what I expected from old vines as usually there is more depth of fruit and texture.

I really wanted to love this wine, especially given the low tariff. However, I didn't. I thought it was perfectly drinkable, and had nice cheerful, red-fruit flavors with a little spice. However, I didn't find a ton of depth or personality here. My wife, on the other hand, really liked it. I do appreciate that the grapes are biodynamically farmed and think it is still a decent value, but don't quite get the Parker or IWC praise. I have another bottle, which I will keep for a while, so hopefully I'll enjoy that one more.

Dark core with gradual purple ruby rim; confected dark berries, tart, simpler; sweet tart dark fruit, shorter finish; tasty little wine you can consume as is or use to make Sangria.

Nice enough. Somewhat fruit forward, backed by decent structure. Gripping tannins kick in on the nice finish. A pleasant, easy-drinking wine that doesn't overwhelm with plums and red fruit.

This was a nice change of pace from my usual fare.
There is a pretty nose of red fruit, vanilla, and butterscotch.
Nicely fruit forward on the pallet with plums, cherries with hints of toffee or butterscotch, dark chocolate.
The fruit extends into a nice finish.
