Macon made as Chablis: no apparent new oak, no malo, a profile high on the citrus scale. Not as interesting to me as Chablis, it made for a very nice everyday white.

Super-interesting. I often seem to get pineapple/tropical notes from Tripoz's Macon whites, and this one was no exception -- but in this case there's some pre-ox stuff happening. It's not unpleasant -- but the pineapple is mixed with brown apple.
The ratings here seem crazy low to me, though -- and that's even with me drinking a pre-ox'ed version!

has some of the cooler '11 dried flower and herbal notes on the nose. The palate is quite creamy with some ripe fruit salad flavours at the wine's heart. It finishes with zippy sherbet like acidity.

Generously fruited with the full gamut of orchard fruits on display with a hint of fig thrown in for good measure. Some powdery citrus sherbet pings around the gums and it is fresh and lively to go with all of its accessibility.
