There was no doubting the varietal typicity of this wine. It showed a strong nose, medium/light body, lively fruit with the usual notes of grapefruit, gooseberry and grass allied with lively acidity but was a bit lacking in underlying roundness and backbone. A good and exhilarating drink though.

Lots of citrus and fresh cut grass on the nose. Pineapple and grapefruit. Well balanced for the variety but not super acidic. Bright and fresh. Good wine.

No detailed notes on this one, we'll save that for the next bottle. We can already see ourselves picking some of this up for the coming summer, since this is a very refreshing wine chock-full of tropical fruit. It's missing some of the "bracing acidity" that is promised on the bottle, though. "Very good," 87/100.

Distinctly Brancott on the first sniff and sip. Grapefruit with hints of lemon/lime. Delicious, very refreshing, and pairs really well with seafood. Sure to be a crowd pleaser and an excellent weekday value. Glad I have more.

On the nose strong black currant aromas. Medium to full bodied, dry, vibrant fruit driven palate with black currant and some grassy notes; lean and firm acidity. Very good stuff. At Primula.

In the Marlborough style, but fruit notes not as pronounced as others. Pleasant, and a fair deal at $9.

A marvelous example of a Marlborough Sauv Blanc. All sorts of good stuff in there ... cat pee, asparagus, green apple and fresh cut grass.

Lovely, grassy mineral notes typical of New Zealand sauvignon Blancs. High in acidity with grapefruit, melon and passion fruit.
