Notes much the same as the last bottle except that the additional cellar time has evened things out. Outstanding bottle in the unusual but wonderful style of Pernot.

Seemed like a good choice to end 2020 on. Lovely bright clear green gold, showing a little age but not too much. Really nice complexity on the nose. hint of oak, some minerals, hint of coconut, hint of apple, there are many notes there, but none really stands out. Palate is equally smooth and complex, nice lemony tart apple acidity, some ripe apple, peach notes, maybe notes of caramel and coconut, really nice balance with a long finish.
I've had a couple of really nice white burgs and this is up there with the best. Delicious.

Top of the cork had mold on it which did not bode well. However the wine was not affected. It is rich gold in color. On the palate citrus predominates with some butter and notes of perfume and crushed dried flowers. Not sure if the mold on the cork signals that it is time to drink up.

Let my bottles lay for 5 years before trying another and drank over 4 days of sipping. It was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Fruit is more muted and color is more of a green yellow. However the taste was more complex and interesting. Less fruit and citrus and more of a robust earthiness. It is not a light drinker, but rather more of a food wine.

Medium golden color. Notes of butterscotch, citrus, and a bit of marshmallows. Good balance with nice fruit and underlying structure to age a bit longer. For my tastes, don't hold longer than five though.

Notes after following for two hours in decanter. Medium gold color, clear pitch and reflection in the glass. Profound nose with a nice balance of pineapple, toasted marshmallow, lemon peel, hazelnut, and light oak notes of vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and a touch of smoke. Medium bodied with a level of acidity that is right where I like it to be: just a little high. Tremendous length to the finish. I like it more now than I did two years ago. 5+13+17+9= 94

This bottle is the best of three that I have tried. Previous examples have seemed prematurely aged. This bottle whilst still a gold colour has held together beautifully. Perfect balance between fruit and oak. A lovely acid backbone, laced with minerals. Good persistent finish. There is a kind of nervous tension in this wine which I love. Real class.

This is an excellent Chardonnay tasted next to a Chassagne Motrachet and followed by a 1970 Lynch Bages, another Lynch Bages, a Haut Brion and a Dominus and several Sauternes including Y'quem. I say this not to impress but to demonstrate that this premier cru Puligny was memorable in such company. Somewhat fat and fleshy but a wonderful fresh taste that was clean and pure and should last several more years. Seems to be a great value for Puligny.

Fatter, with darker citrus fruit tones than expected. Lacks the lift and vibrancy I'm looking for, and the overall impression is a bit sweet and flabby. Some decent individual components, and being served cooler might help this, but overall disappointing.

This chard was fantastic. The palate mirrored the expressive nose with citrus, yellow fruits and bolstering acid. Lovely wine with great balance between the fruit and structure.

This is a stunning powerful wine. Colour quite developed for it age and oak quite prominent on first opening. Settled down after an hour where the lovely full peach fruit blended seamlessly with the oak. Very full body and long finish. Gorgeous Puligny

A bit of a disappointment. Not particularly expressive, and while weighty, it didn't project a lot of substance. Didn't seem like I missed its peak, so maybe my expectations were just off.

Lots of rich yellow fruit with a gorgeous floral/jasmine character and a touch of spice. Dense with good concentration but excellent acidity. A real crowd pleaser and far superior to a recent bottle of the 2012, but not quite as powerful or mineral as a bottl drunk a year ago. Not sure it will make old bones, but it's pretty damn good now.

Couleur d’or pâle dans le verre. Nez frais de citrons jaunes. En bouche, citron, un peu d'herbe verte et belle minéralité. Encore bien jeune mais excellent. Tout à fait rafraîchissant pour une chaude nuit comme ce soir.

This chard had an explosive nose of tropical fruits and nuts. The palate was more subdued but had a nice mix of tropicals, citrus fruits, including some orange oil, and saline. Acidity was nicely present and integrated as well. Lovely wine.

Quite round and full. Some nuttiness and spice alongside ripe yellow fruit. The fruit-acid balance keeps everything in check and leads to a relatively taught mouthfeel. Very open and forward right now; there is so much raw material on display. And no GMs!

Fabulous. Perfectly ripe pear fruit that's showing all kinds of nuances, with spice and hazelnut and flowers and just a touch of butterscotch. Very concentrated but with great acidity and a wonderful rocky snap and crackle to the finish. The slight nutty character makes me wonder about aging this but it's so good now, who cares? If only all white burgundy were this good.

Decent value 1er Cru. Deep straw color. Good minerality and acidity balance. Light on the complexity but very drinkable.

Great balance of fruit, oak and alcohol. We all loved it and it drank like a dream. I will be curious to see what a couple of years does.
