Nice bottle of Chablis. Despite the warm vintage, it still shows very good Chablis character even if a firmer acidic backbone would have been preferable. While it doesn't have the interest of a Cru vineyard, it's still a very enjoyable bottle of Chardonnay. I would drink it over the next 2-3 years.

Golden yellow. Mellow stone fruit aromas with a hint of salinity and oyster shells. On the palate, smooth and full bodied with a rich spread of fruit edged by a nice acid edge, bitter citrus rind lift at the back and a long finish. Feels more mature and balanced than the last time I tasted it; very comforting. 50 + 16 + 16 + 8 = 90.

aroma of apples and a bit lemon, mineral aromas and a lot of flint. medium minerality, delicate fruit and acidity. Good Structur and quiet powerful. Very nice for a simple Chablis.

For their village Chablis, this has real class. Wood is present in good measure to give weight and structure. Nice length and surprpsing power. Very impressive QPR and can't wait to see what the 1ier cru offers

Pale yellow. Lovely nose of oyster shells, zesty lemon, sourdough. Medium weight on the palate with smooth fruit, beautiful acids mounting to a long acid finish. Just delicious and beginning to develop some verve and character compared to my memory of the last time I tasted it. 50 + 17 + 16 + 7.

Sad day - last of 6 bottles. Great wine - perfect balance of acid, mineral and fruit. Complex enough to avoid being "just" a pleasing gulper - and less than $20. So many wines 2 and 3 times more expensive not nearly as well constructed.

This has come together very nicely. Engaging minerality on the nose. Light stone fruit pulled me in. Light on its feet, well balanced. Great from first sip. Enjoyed this very much with a panko cod dish.

PnP. 55F. Medium yellow. Full nose with apricot, sweetish fruit, hint of earth and mineral. Good acid and nice progression from initial attack to gripping finish. Minerality over apple and pear on the palate. Nice solid chablis.

Not a detailed note, from memory, clean fruit aromas with a hint of minerality on the nose, nice balance of acid and fruit on the palate, a lovely aperitif Chablis.

The first thing I noticed was the slowness of its legs. And then came the aroma. What a bouquet, seriously! One of the perkiest I've had the chance to experience. The taste didn't stand out that much. Nevertheless, there was a nice balance between the citrous juiciness in the beginning and the mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

Medium bodied and creamy, with a strong citrus backbone alongside excellent minerality and a saline finish complemented by subtle lemon rind flavors. Nicely floral bouquet too. Acidity is medium; just right to balance out the richness of the wine, but not high enough to match a shellfish dish. Paired excellently with "Sol le duc", a creamy (French) sole curry. Best served at room temperature and consumed within 60 minutes. One of the tastiest bottles of Chardonnay in recent memory for me. 13% ABV.

A nice, straight forward Chablis. Round and balanced. Juicy lemon notes, a touch grassy. Agree with another TN in that I also did not pick up much flint. I like buying this kind of Chablis from Garagiste - $15-$20 range for everyday drinking and brings a strong sense of place. A jarring contrast to some domestic chards at same price point! Will get to remaining bottles in next 1-2 years.

Excellent, although not flinty-chablisien. At a blind tasting, I would have had this one down as a southern Burgundy chardonnay, Viré-Clessé or St-Véran: it's very generous and voluptuous. Don't pair with shellfish/mussels etc.

I should have bought more of these except I wanted to get off the Garagiste list. A big pungent, stony glass of classic Chablis. Other than a more nuanced texture there is not a lot separating this wine from Grand Cru Chablis at 4 -10 times plus the price. Paid $17 and would love to own more.

Round mouthfeel with great expression and length. Stones with lemony tropicals developing across the palate. Finish is balanced nicely.

Pure fruit, clean and long. There's a lot to like in this bottle though a bit superficial.

Great balance with a lot of acidity. Cut right through lobster ravioli. Some minerality and wax on the back. Good fruit to fill it out.
