At first sight good sweet density and complexity. But on closer inspection the Cabernet Sauvignon comes through a little too loudly. Still, not bad. The Cab (and Syrah) go back to the time when the French came in to revitalize Priorat. Fortunately the newer/younger growers stick to traditional methods and use exclusively the indigenous Carignena and Garnacha.

If you thought that Albarino is only the crisp little white that goes so well with seafood, take a look at this one: lemon curd, peach, and all the creaminess of southern Burgundy. I didn't know the northern Spanish whites (all delightful) could reach this level of complexity. It has gained in body since the last bottle I had (Dec. 2013).

Really very good; pure and precise, and gorgeously aromatic.
