Last bottle, secondary notes have taken control of both palate and nose, so elegant, so integrated, so subtle, so balanced. Paired well with Chilean Sea bass and sea scallops.

Pnp, consumed over 1 hour. Appearance: Clear, pale gold. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of lemon custard, pear, mango, pineapple, and flint. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium+ body with a nice creamy mouth-feel, 14.1% abv, medium+ intensity with flavors of mango, lemon custard, pear, and buttered toast with a long finish.
Overall an outstanding Chardonnay nearing it's peak showing superb intensity, complexity, and length - could use just a touch more acid to balance the fruit and oak influence but that's probably splitting hairs. Great wine, drink now or over next 2-3 years.

Opened a magnum that I’ve had cellared since release, one of the first OR Chards I liked. Drinking nicely and if stored properly could last s few more years though I doubt it’s going to improve.

Very nice Chardonnay, incredibly complex with tropical fruits, only hints of toasty new oak and butter balanced by stone/slate and near perfect acidity. Purchased from the winery back in October, 2013, bottles that are properly cellared should last for several more years.

Luminous, medium gold color, with complex aromas and flavors of lemon, ripe pear and apple, mango and pineapple with toasty overlay of crème brûlée Excellent acidity and freshness on the attack perfectly balanced by concentrated, ripe and sweet fruit and creamy, smooth, lengthy finish. Drinking perfectly at cellar temperature. New world chard at its best!

Very good wine! Put it away in the refrigerator and the next day it was still drinking wonderfully! Decant this wine. Swedish story means a lot to me, good wine!

Corked! Such a bummer, we purchased this at the winery 2 1/2 years ago and were eagerly anticipating this as it was so wonderful on release. Would love to find this again, as it I could tell there was a beautiful wine under the cork stench...

This wine was not my taste at all: It seemed to have a grafted-on smell and taste. Similar to the Ayoub 2014...Like they added acidity to the wine. Way overpriced, too!

Some citrus and floral notes on the nose. Balance of fruit and minerality with a small amount of oak coming through. More of an old world style - stands up well to rich chicken dishes. Like this very much - should be good for the price!

Oregon @ Portland (Portland, London): Palest straw. Very stale and sweaty socks initially, but this blows off to reveal a nicely oatmeal lay nose. Nicely dense and deep. Dense and minerally on the attack, very classy. Dense but not heavy though there is a slight sense of its 14.1% abv on the finish as it warms up. Mineral line and length. Lovely. ****

Ripe but lean with apparent new oak. Nice mineral, baking spice, sweet floral notes. White lily, passionfruit, habanero pepper, vanilla-lemon frosting and cinnamon. Grapefruit and lime leaf. This wine is like dessert! Lemon-merangue pie

A really excellent, complex, smooth, well-balanced chardonnay; stone fruit, almonds, honeysuckle, minerals on the palate; a touch of acid and a touch of sweet allow it to pair well with food - we had it with a Moroccan bisteeya, and it drew unsolicited praise all around.

Mostly American Wines; 7/2/2014-7/6/2014: Aromas of white peach, rich honey and orange marmalade, but also some fresh cut flowers and ocean spray notes. Medium+ bodied with fresh acidity and bursting fruit: lime, white peach, honeydew, green apple, all thrown in together. Some sweet honey and crushed almond notes, but they’re matched with intense minerality and some interesting oceanic elements. Deep, long, complex, a forward Chardonnay but one that offers a lot to contemplate. A bit steep at $85, but a beauty.

Balance through and through. Minerality balanced with sweet spice notes. Acidity balanced with a silky round mouthfeel. Complex layers of aromas. One of the best domestic Chardonnays.

very pale golden color; on nose some oak, faint lemon and lemon meringue; on palate a bit of oak, but not overwhelming, good vibrancy and minerality - the whole at this point of time rather understated. good balance. Good wine; will be interesting where it finishes up in 3-5 years (I won't be buying any, though - price is simply too high at 85$…)

Drank the bottle I've had in my cellar for 5 years tonight. What a payoff.
The aromatics are absolutely banging. Rich, creamy, and custardy with Asian pear, butterscotch, and wet stone.
Perfect balance of taught bright acidity with soft, voluptuous creaminess. Stunning mouthfeel, mid palate, and length. A true beauty.
