Nice, slightly more integrated and smoother fruit & acid than nearly two years ago. As before, fruit profile of red fruit, black fruit/blackberry, some earth and some herb & spice. Less mineral. Moderately rich and long, clean to the palate. Had along side 2010 Cosme St. Joseph, and that clearly was the deeper and more subtle wine. Both in fine form with life ahead.

Very pretty blue and red berry fruit. Moderate concentration and cleansing acidity. Nicely integrated. Drinking well, structure to last several years. Stoopid qpr.

Served with beef stew. Drank over two nights. Quite good both nights, still going strong on second night. Moderate deep red. Moderate full body, not lush or rich, but with some weight. Red fruit, blackberry, cherry with healthy dose of earth/mineral/herb, that really defines the palate. Well balanced, and only light tannin. Will let second bottle rest a while.

This bottle didn't do it for me; something was off. It wasn't cooked nor was it corked but, the balance was off - very grapey on the front and oddly mineral finish. just disjointed and unintegrated. We've had others this same vintage that were good so...

Nose: Mossy forest floor. Dark fruits. Taste:dark fruits and leather, vanilla. Deep dark wine. Nice wine, with a slightly strong alcohol flavor. Might be better with time or food.

Highly reductive. Stewed fruits lead me to believe it is a bad or cooked bottle. I hope that's the case. Have a couple more bottles. Will revisit later! Right now, not reccommended!

Aerated in bottle, consumed 1 hour later over ~2 hours. A dark, Northern Rhone-y syrah in what is for me an attractively rustic style. Sandpapery tannins, good acid, and notes of dark chocolate, black pepper, and savory dried meat generally more prominent than the blackberry fruit. We had this without food, but I think this would sing with a variety of richly-seasoned dishes. 90+

Lush wild flowers, light acidic with apple, banana, back of the tongue lingering smoky vanilla. Overall, four friends blind tasting 91 point - good work, recomended with spicy foods.

Briny nose with some blackberry accents. Fruit forward, but balanced with some umami/brine/earthy character. Made from top end Washington Syrah sites with a nod to wines of the Northern Rhone.
Paired this with some short ribs, looking forward to trying more bottles with a variety of dishes as this wine was made for the dinner table.

Exhibits an excellent balance between complex earthy fruit, ample acidity and a nice structured mouth feel. This paired with all parts of an eclectic meal. That says a lot.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin. It tastes like blackberry and prune. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity. Grown in higher elevations and harvested early.

Really excellent syrah for the price. Classic mix of fruit and savory, medium long finish. Wish I had more...

Cork seeping a bit. Good thing I popped it! Nice funk, black pepper, blackberry, dark chocolate. Disappeared quickly at the dinner party.
