  • DnP. Surprisingly youngish appearance Typical Cab. S. showing loads of blackcurrant in the fruity aroma. Harmonious balanced palate, tannins on retreat, again blackcurrant and dark fruits.

  • This is by no means a trophy wine but definitely a bargain for the quality. Very muted nose throughout, but…lovely mouth, pallet and finish. Feminine in style like it’s big sister Mas La Plana. Bursting with cherries and mild milk chocolate notes, with a somptuous smooth finish. I have 2 more and will camp on them to see the evolution.

  • Veldig god drikkbarhet. Rund, fyldig munnflelse. Smak av solbr og anelse av fat. God 11 argammel vin.

  • Medium plus nose is funky, barnyard, balsamic tone shows age, dried black plums, forest floor, mushroom, herbal tones. Palate is lovely, tertiary notes of forest floor, mushroom, old cedar, dried black plum, cassis. Structure shows it's Cab with medium plus tannins holding up the dry finish, medium plus alcohol. Excellent QPR and nice age here.

  • Cherry and fresh cedar aromas from the cork. Savoury nicotine, smoky and earthy nose, followed by herbal and blackberry aromas of medium+ intensity. Palate is medium-bodied with lively acids. Oak spice, red & black cherry, herbal flavour profile. Medium+ level tannins and a long, warm, oak-spiced and bitter chocolate finish. Spice calmed down to a more pleasing level with air.

  • Very nice bottle for the price, 15%temprenillo blend adds some welcomed tartness with tannins and good feel .. no brickish color showing at all after 6 years- a for sure A for price but stay conservative for my first wine graded on here. Medium body keeps this from 90+.

  • In the bouquet dark forest fruits, sweet spices and vanilla. On the palate red and dark berries, vanilla, some bell pepper, good acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Early maturity stage now. No hurry.

  • WSET home tasting practice. Not my usual format.

the wine is clear with a purple core and garnet rim with medium+ intensity. average tears. no other observations.

the nose shows medium- intensity with savory animal aromas of smoked meats and game, with added herbal menthol and mint aromas. Some cooked black fruit and burnt rubber minerality.

the wine is dry with medium- acid and medium grippy tannins. alcahol is medium plus and the wine has a medium+ body. Medium intensity palate with flavors of cooked black plum, raisin, and bitter green herbs. Prounouced savory flavors of game and smoke.

The creamy texture and integrated oak suggest this wine is fully developed with little potential for long term aging but is not past its prime. the wine is moderately priced but shows minimal varietal character and nuance. overall the wine fruit seems a bit muted and possibly overripe due to the cooked fruit character. Not offensive but not something i'd return to. Drink now.

  • Tasted at Home Party with Libbey Seamless
The appearance of the wine is clear, with medium garnet colour and legs. On the nose it is clean with medium minus intensity, flavours of red fruits, stewed fruits, oak, tobacco. The palate is dry, with low acidity, medium minus tannin, at 14% alcohol, with medium body and flavour intensity of red fruits, savoury, oak, slight herbaceous and mint. This is a fully developed wine with medium finish. Acceptable and drink now over the next 2 to 3 years.

  • Mostly vanilla and sweet spices in the bouquet. On the palate dark forest fruits, some red berries as well, vanilla and sweet spices again. There is ok acidity and the tannin is still a bit sticky. I expect the wine will improve a bit with a few more years of ageing. Around 2017? 86+ for now.

  • The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry jam. It tastes like fig and strawberry jam. The body is light/medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

  • Holiday purchase and fine quality for a reasonable price. However, it did not leave an indelible mark, so at what I reckon Irish prices will be I wont be buying again

  • Dusty cedar, earth, oak. Cherry fruit overtones, sweet cassis too. Good concentration on the palate, perhaps a bit sweet, very fruity. Integrated tannins, medium acidity. Not bad in its category, a bit obvious and overstated, but decent bang for the buck.

  • Color rojo picota, ribete violáceo bien vivo, capa media tirando a alta y fina lágrima bien tintada.
