One of the best expressions of grenache that I've tasted. Bright cherry fruit, but still balanced with medium body and tannins. Decanted for 30 minutes before drinking, but it appeared to be drinking just fine out of the bottle now.

I have to concede disappointment on this one. Vibrant and fresh out of the bottle, with an enticing, varied nose of herbs, rasberry with vanilla, forest floor and pepper. The taste could not match that lead-in. Overly sweet dark cherry and plum flavors dominate the front palate, with a touch of allspice, but there is too much oak and no real complexity. Medium finish with no heat. Overbearingly sweet, almost bordering on port.

Ruby red color. The nose was earthy with dark cherry and framboise overtones. This was ripe on the palate with cherry and raspberry as well as some earth. Structurally, the acidity is vibrant and the tannins are fully resolved. The finish is long with ripe red fruits on the close. Overall, this was ripe with good, red fruits and supporting acidity. My wife loved it.

Inviting nose of sweet red fruits and spices. Fruit forward flavors of cherries, licorice, spice cake, and mocha. Med+ body, good focus, and with a voluptuous texture. A crowd pleaser to be sure. Lacked a touch of complexity but delicious

A scorching color of fire engine red, this wine peaks your interest by it's tempting looks and scents. Dark strawberry hits the palate from the start, then glides into more fruit flavors of red cherries, currant with a green herb tinge. A caressing finish that displays firm tannins and a tar like, burnt toast edge to it. A back and forth kind of wine that has it's moments, but will improve with time in the bottle. Villa Creek tasting room - Paso Robles Harvest Festival.

15.2% alcohol. Medium dark ruby red. Expressive red and black fruit flavors. On the palate we have black cherries, rasberry, white pepper and just a touch of asian spice. Excellent balance, creamy mouthfeel, lingering aftertaste. Still primary, but very pure and delicious. Cris Cherry has a great touch with Grenache.

15.2% ABV. Cloudy translucent dark ruby garnet. Fresh smelling with various aromas of raspberry, cherry/kirsch, and balsa. Sweet attack of red berry and ripe cherry with some underlying herb. Medium-full bodied with a silky texture. Good.

The nose is bright, red raspberry with hints of musk and sandelwood. In the mouth, red raspberry and cherry begin the attack with complimentary earthy notes on the mid-palate. The tannins and acidity balance with the red fruit, providing an integrated wine. The finish is solid with red fruits and no heavy handed oak.
