Somewhat improved over the last two plus years, much more demonstrative than I previously remember with wonderful complexity in terms of balance between minerality and yellow fruits and citrus. Poured into a chilling carafe, displays a deep lemon color. Aromatic and flavorful profile yields drying lemon peel, tart lemon juice, salty sea spray, crushed white stone, quince, and some herbaceousness. Mostly mineral driven, wrapped around an acidic core. Long finish focused on the mineral overtones with the lemon rind showing some slight bitterness. This should drink well for at least another if stored properly.

Deep yellow in glass. Aged lemon, lemon, pear, apple, mineral, bit of herb and other yellow stone fruit. Moderate full body, moderate length, bit of sweetness to go with well balanced acidity. Judging from other comments bottle time has helped round this out. Drinking nicely. Drank over several nights and it held up just fine.

Very sublte when cold, lemon balm and mineral. Shows much more complexity when warmer with nuttiness and petrol. Very much a screecher with the acid; a bit excessive in fact. Food is a must! No doubt age forever...

Poured into a chilling carafe, medium, translucent yellow. Aromatic and flavorful with notes of lemon peel, salty sea spray, crushed white stone, quince, and some herbaceousness. Mostly mineral driven, wrapped around an acidic core. Long finish. Given the solid acidity, this should drink well for another 2-3 years if stored properly. Great with appetizers.

55F PnP light yellow big nose with honey stone and bit of must. Interesting that the 2011 you could PnP with great results where this came off disjointed and thin initially but improved with a bit of time. Good acid. Chenin blanc typicality came out only after a couple of hours. Still have one bottle of 2011 left, should do side by side.

Best at warm temperature, exhibiting notes of lime, citrus, salt and faint herbs, refreshingly dry yet not abrasively bone-dry. After 30+ minutes it also began developing some petrol notes on the nose alongside the quince skin bouquet. Terribly quaffable, with a strong mineral core, and a short-to-medium saline finish. And an outstanding QPR. 13.5% ABV. (I enjoyed this a tad better than the previous vintage as it seems just a bit richer.) 88-89

Pale straw color. Bursting with lime and quince, sea shells, crushed chalk, some white tea notes along with touches of green herbs. Medium+ bodied, waxy feel but bright acid. Fruits are a mix of lime, lemon, quince. Salty, some briny notes and green tea, seaweed. Minerals linger on the finish. Still, despite the minerality and freshness, the wine isn’t incredibly deep or profound on that next level. Good, but lacking a bit of staying power perhaps? Gets much more expressive on day two, so perhaps just needs some more time to unwind.

Nose of white tea, honey and grapefruit. Palate has some mild, weak apple, lime, and some mineral; however, it is overtly dry and bitter. People who enjoy bone-dry whites may like this, but this reminds me of "Chardonnay in a box." It is this style of wine that made me a "does not drink white wine" kind of guy for many years (Thank you Huet for your demi-sec on up, Zind-Humbrecht VTs, and so many German Auselese on up for changing my mind!)

Loads of minerality, pear and lychee with the slightest hint of buttery notes and salinity. Fairly expressive nose with a crisp, tense palette with bright acidity and a decent finish. 7-17-7-7

Opened our last bottle for a poached flounder recipe and enjoyed the rest of the bottle with the finished entre.

At this price point, I would definitely buy again. Excellent with grilled lemon pepper shrimp and roasted broccoli. Lots of citrus - medium finish.
