Served @ room temperature (say 17c/63f, 13.5% abv) with entree of Swedish Meatballs. Dark red in the glass, Nose of red berries, with dark red fruit on the palate. Medium-bodied, taste seems rather non-descript and undistinguished; not too harsh, astringent or woody. Medium finish. Wine may have peaked and is now on the downside.

Subtle aromas of dark fruit and oak on the nose. Medium bodied, smooth with gentle tannins, showing discreet and unfocused dark fruit with just a hint of oak. A bit shy and lacking personality but easy to quaff. More like a cheap table wine. Paid 19 € for a half bottle; awful QPR.

N: Fragrant: oak init, then berries (blk?) with notes of earth & smoke
P: Med, poss MF, body; Nice, almost swtish frt on the front; QUITE seamless, the long finish being VERY slightly firmed by astringency. Drinking very nicely right now, though I suspect it has peaked. IMO dink NOW if you still have. 13.5% ABV

This was a good drink during the Grey Bear trip to Vegas. We had this after spending 4 hours at the hofbrau haus. Can't tell what it really tasted like but we all enjoyed it.

Drank at dinner party, no formal notes. Surprisingly good for a $20 California cab. As to be expected, full bodied and round. No discernible tannin, but the wine holds a nice solid structure in the mouth. Full of dark berries, Allspice and cedar, but with a tasteful (and unexpected) amount of Earthy, vegetal tones. One of the better California value wines I've had, and better than many $30 California cabs. Nicely balanced and drinking well right now.

This is a very nice bargain cab with dark fruits on the nose and palette, balanced acid, gripping tannins and a smooth mouth feel. I drank without food, and enjoyed every drop. Another glass? Sure, I can have one more. I don't remember where I bought this, but its one of the few winners in my stash of budget wines.

Red and Black Ripe Fruit, medium+ body, medium acidity, good amount of tannins it not over bearing. Good CA cab, it never disappoints. I enjoyed it today, did not pair with anything.

Took a sample after a half hour decant. Felt it was closed and still a young wine. Picking up dark fruits and violets on the nose. On the palate medium acid, and a dominance of savory, spicy and meaty flavors. Medium+ tannins.
After an hour in the decanter, the life seems to get sucked out of it. Tasted somewhat thin and watered down. I was expecting more.

Needs breathe for an hour or so, then opens up nicely. Dark fruit, a little spice, and just a hint of vanilla. Firm tannins that softened after being open for awhile

Sad, sorry indictment of Cali wine here -- super sweet, almost tastes like a Cab-Concord blend. Syrupy, unbalanced, little varietal character. Ridiculous what they charge for this wine to boot. I can't decide what's worse -- that it lacks soul, or it doesn't seem to care to have soul.

A bit too young to drink; my rating is based on how I think it will be based on how it is now. Nice complexity of flavor, and straightforward CA style. At $17 will definitely buy more. If drinking now, definitely decant for a few hours.

This wine is earthy, lighter than lots of Cabs and has just a touch of fruit. Perfect with a rich steak like Sperry's!

Fruit gallore at first, then oaky-vanilla. Very young but opened gracefully to a standard, small-dollar, enjoyable (!) effort.
