Middag med A+N och P+H i Sundbyberg (A+N, Sundbyberg): (Disgorged in September 2014, 100% Chardonnay from old vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, dosage 5 gr/l) Yellow colour with baked bread, red apples fruitiness and opens up with cream in a nice and pleasant way. Smoothing lime citrus acidity on the palate with a gentle creaminess and showing a lovely butter cream mid moving into a lengthy finish with a smoothing herbal touch. Very lovely right now! (Best 2017-2032)

Middag med A+N och P+H i Sundbyberg (A+N, Sundbyberg): (Disgorged in September 2014, 100% Chardonnay from old vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, dosage 5 gr/L) Light yellow colour with a lovely maturing nose showing yellow apples and minerals and opens up with yellow plums, chocolate and some herbs in a delicious way. Pleasant creamy palate showing yellow apples, showing a lovely cream and butter on the mid and oxidative ripe apples on the lengthy finish. Leaving a minerals saltiness on the lips in a very pleasant way. (Best 2022-2037)

Superb showing. Rich and powerful but balanced with fresh, wiry acidity. Notes of brioche, and buttered toast, some almond and white fruit. Really expressive on the palate and enough cut to be great with our island creek oysters, yet also tasty on its own.

Lost Thursday Wine Lunch - Blacksalt (Blacksalt, Washington DC): Very ripe yellow fruit driven expression but no sign of oxidative note like Krug or Selosse Substance. According to David B, very little dosage as the producer believes in ripe healthy fruit. The fruit impression is quite sweet but the finish is pretty dry. Ripe green apple juice dominates, mostly apple driven nose, burnt sugar and mineral. Excellent concentration, apple juice driven palate impression, coarse bubbles compare to the CdC and Dom, bright acidity and impressive strong sweet finish. Intensely flavored but neither complex nor polished. Very unique and enjoyable.

Very expressive now. This bottle reminded me of lemon meringue pie.

Delicious, if still young and not giving so much on the nose. A dairy smell. More open on the mouth, tasting of shellfish and quinine.

Fantastic champagne, very powerful but balanced. Notes of brioche, apricots, toast. Fat and opulent with good acidity and finish. Great.

Excellent. Full bodied and bready. Years to go no doubt but excellent now. Drank with smoked oysters.
