-color:a pale lemony yellow -Body: by appearance this is medium plus to full body, -Aroma:salty, nutty, almost like salt water taffy, a little yeasty -Palate: very watery on the front with a saline nuttiness and breadiness that grows with a slightly acidic finish that never really grows that large but lingers for ages. Leaves a briney taste that hangs around. Light acid eventually builds to a medium acid at best.
Not my cup of tea but I’ll see if things develop.

soft, velvety, much less sharp as other finos, which is nice for a change. Finished 16-11-2017 kept in fridge, still very very nice and velvety for a fino.

Sherries at Aatxe with Jeremy (Aatxe): Very light, elevated alcohol (15%) but holds it well. Nutty and oxidative with a bitter component. Salinity and slight tartness on the finish - malic. Short and not strong/long. Light and crisp.

My usual observations of PX-based fino applied again here - a little too fat, while lacking a bit of the flor and crisp definition of finos made from palomino. That said, those characteristics were less in evidence here than in some other cases (e.g. Fino Electrico). Overall, a nice (vintage) fino and a crazy good value at $13.

Unusual in many ways - a PX that isn't sweet, a vintage Fino, unfiltered. Comparing this to a typical Palomino Fino, the differences are slight. This may be a little bit fruitier (citrus), with a bit more acetaldehyde. Not quite as clean and crisp as a typical Fino. But interesting.

Tangy, salty, but of greater heft than Sherry or Manzanilla. Great finish. Remarkably fresh and tense for a Fino of this age. Good value!
