To the nose, peach, apricot, slight pear and very slight green apple, with a very slight floral fragrance. On the palate, slightly less peach and apricot with slightly more pear and green apple. Adequately vibrant with moderate acidity and minerality. More similar to a German kabinett than standard CSM Riesling.

A $7 grocery-store wine from a large producer. I figured I'd keep some around to cook with, or for an undiscerning guest.
Alas, I cooked a quick omelette with asparagus and cheese for lunch, felt like having a glass, and I this was the only wine in my fridge. I took the gamble.
And...this is totally, 100% decent. I find it pretty good. Nice hint of sweetness left - though it's fair to call this "dry" - to balance the surprising acid. Fruity and enjoyable, lively on the tongue, and sporting a pretty long finish.
There's not a ton going on, of course, and I'm not even sure I would have identify this as Riesling. But there are no real flaws, and it's balanced and enjoyable. Good value for sure. Great bottle when you need wine to cook with but also want to enjoy a glass while you're working in the kitchen.

Petrol, coconut, and pineapple on the nose. The petrol and pineapple carry through to the palate, and there is some zesty citrus there too. It is indeed dry as the label states, but packs a lot of fruit and still adequate sweetness.

Light on the nose and palate. Good acidity but not a whole lot going on. Better with food. I much prefer a dry Riesling from Michigan or the Finger Lakes but for $7 at Costco it is a good everyday wine.

nothing to dislike about this wine. nose is light pears and lemon. flavor is light and crisp with little finish. what can you expect for $7? good gulping wine. the 12.5 alcohol could be higher. the dryness saves the wine.

Light straw in color, this wine reveals orange zest, white peach and subtle sage on the nose. The mouth feel brings bright acidity and a strange chemical element that is somewhat waxy. The finish is short with the orange rind and peach elements coming out stronger.
Purchased for $10US, this is a pleasant drinking, low abv (12.5%) offering that needs food to show its best. The chemical, waxy taste in the mid palate brought my score down a few notches.

Finished 3rd out of 4 in a blind tasting of the CSM riesling family (1 Eroica, 2 Cold Creek Vd, 4 Columbia Valley, coincidentally [honest] ordered by price). Did not have the nose or depth of the top 2, but a lot zippier then the Columbia Valley. Nose of light petrol, flowers, lemon-lime, and apples and pears; the driest of the 4 (duh), but by no means bone dry, with enough sugar to bring the tart citrus and bracing minerality into balance, with good apple and pear flavors as well. A terrific value for fans of a drier style of Washington riesling.

Really fresh, light nose (also coming off as a bit closed) that shows really pure lemon with floral notes (perhaps a little lavender-y) and cool wet rock. Thankfully, the palate is more open than the nose. Initially I get a hit of crisp green apple, followed by a some citrus notes--but more grapefruit pith/zest than the lemon that came through on the nose.
As a dry Riesling, I had hoped for a little more acidity, and this is a bit thin on the palate. Overall, though, this is a really pleasant weeknight sipper.

Dry, white wine, transparent, no sediment, no bubbles. Medium straw colored, medium legs. Nose of grass, lemon, grapefruit. Palate suggests grass, grapefruit, flint, roses. Medium viscosity, medium/full acidity. Medium finish of pear, peach.

Very decent for a value priced Washington State Riesling. The nose is vibrant and expressive baked apple, apricot, peach and citrus with some earthy minerality in the background. Lacks the secondary and tertiary wet stone flavors of it's German cousins. Typical mouth feel and viscosity. Lots of raw, bracing acidity. Mellows nicely towards the finish leaving some honey and peach with citrus.

Attractive nose. Notes of green apples, pears, melon, citrus, and crystallized fruit, all lifted by a pleasant touch of baking soda. Crisp, dry, and very tensile. Good focus on finish.

4 It has been said abundantly, and it needs to be said again--outstanding dry riesling for the price tag. Tough to beat. Vibrant citrus, pear aromas, and the crispness I love (more of a dry riesling fan, personally).
