Dark color. Kind of musky but with nice dark fruit. Rather harsh tannins and lighter body. You really feel the extended skin contact during the amphora aging (8 month). Kinda reminds of a kakheti saperavi, only with higher acidity.

Two hour decant, both the nose and the palate are a little austere but once you become used to it more fruit appears. This is on the tart side in a good way, with glossy tannins that don't interrupt the flow of the savory sided flavors.

PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark garnet with purplish rim. Nose has dark fruits like blackberry and some spice but mostly mute. Swishing shows both acid and tannin structure, neither of which is obtrusive. Sipping this shows dense fruit but the structure keeps it light on the palate. Finish is med length and weight and quite pleasant. Really very nice

Fruit is very reserved with hints of earth and herb. Medium bodied. Needs a bit of time for the acid and tannin to fold in. Not much pleasure not as it's fairly visceral.
Apparently, stays 8 months on the skins in amphorae. Apparently the amephorae didn't soften it much with that much skin contact.

Medium ruby. More secondary aromas than the basic 2011 cuvee. Medium weight, more earth than fruit and grippy finishing tannins and acidity. Not very pleasing at present.

All primary cool blue fruit with a light clay note. Fresh acidity, smooth and harmonious tannins, mineral finish, but too young still - it shows only a minor part of what it's got. Followed over three days with surprisingly small change, probably one for the long perspective. Will be interesting to see how it develops.

I don't get it and kind of get it at the same time. This has all the character of a cheap Italian wine packaged in a nice way. Amphora? sure. smooth, velvety, lasting... ? sure, ut I don't like the fruit and taste itself which is cheap not worth the markup.

Drunk in good company, no TN.
Juicy and lively, still young and a pleasure to drink.

PnP. Very pretty, if a bit fruit forward at the moment. Very likely improvement in complexity and upscore with age. 12.5%

Tasted at a wine-maker tasting. Made from Teroldelgo. Vinified in tinajas and amphoras.
Bouquet: Discrete red berries. A "natural wine"-nose.
Palate: Smoke and red berries. Good acid and structure. No tannins.
