This lockdown is really making me appreciate bourg rouge much more than I have in a while. No great profundity, but a thoroughly enjoyable wine. We had it as part of a burgundy tasting with my local "running" club - very well liked by all, although it just missed a podium position.

Enjoyed the 2010 and 2012. Missed 2011 and I haven’t got on to the later vintages yet. But this is a cracker and perhaps the best yet. Bright strawberry fruit. Floral nose. Crispy crunchy but ripe palate. Quite firm and focussed on the finish. A really well made wine.

My final bottle more sturdy than anticipated. Nice strawberry fruit. Quite classy. Other tasters suggest this could keep longer and they're probably right, but for my taste this is perfect now.

Pale, bright ruby coloured. The nose is precise and tending towards the peppery spectrum. Clean and wonderful given the challenges of the vintage. Acidity is crisp and tannins surprisingly firm. Not generous, but the right side of being food-friendly and inviting.

Bright, medium ruby/cherry core, pale ruby rim. Youthful, fresh, pure summer red fruits, touch of damson, floral notes. Medium bodied, vibrant, youthful, red fruited, light on its feet but with some depth too, crisp acidity, medium/good length finish with a touch of dusty tannin. Delicious.

Quite a spritz to start, but a bit of a shake released the gas. Very tasty indeed, good mostly red fruit, nice balance of acidity. Look forward to trying the other wines.

Classic colour; seductive nose, ripe strawberries; soft, supple pinot, lovely; a delight - well mannered finish, persistent.

Pale, crimson tinged; floral fragrance, strawberries; fresh vitality, primary accessibility, featherweight feel. This had sufficient stuffing to accompany lamb cutlets & beetroot. Enjoyable now & next 18 months.

Similar to last review though I now think for early consumption as I think the lightness of the vintage here will soon stop playing well.
