A more substantial than fruit-forward Beaujolais, mellow in the mouth with a harmonious blend of flavors. Reminded me more of a GSM from the Rhône than a typical Beaujolais. Recommended.

Weekly tasting group #173; A fully blind test. (@ My place): Transparent purple red. In the bouquet primary fruits like raspberries and cherry candy stick. Same on the palate. Ok freshness. Clean wine, but more like lemonade with alcohol.

Typical Beaujolais Village. Lots of fruit and a bit jammy
Not a bad one to have it a hundred degrees

Not nearly as good as the previous bottle drunk in Sep 2015. Mediocre gamay characteristics, not very well balanced. Try again with a newer vintage.
